My "Ron Paul"-like support of another candidate for PresidentSubmitted by NCMarc on Thu, 09/11/2008 - 10:03
I have been very neutral on any other candidates for President until today. I don't have any feelings one way or another, I don't know a lot about them, but I know one thing is true, none will be Ron Paul.
I've been holding back my support, like Ron Paul, to any of the candidates until one of them shows some leadership. By Barr not taking this opportunity to unite and stand with Ron Paul, he, himself and nobody else, has put himself at the bottom of my list.
Through Barr's decision not to stand with Ron Paul and tell the media that they SHOULD pay attention to ALL the parties... he has sent a message that his coverage is just fine and he's just fine with the coverage he's got. Fine then, I'll just ignore you too, Bob Barr.
Barr's decision not to attend the NPC news conference hurt Ron Paul's credibility, in his plea to the American public, to look at all the candidates and make your vote on the issues and not the two puppets the media told us we should vote for.
If the 3rd parties don't rally together, they will always be 3rd parties. If they want change, real change, they might actually have to do some collaboration.
For there is one thing that is certain, the Dems and the Reps don't have their interests in mind, and that is why they are in a 3rd party to begin with, and to that, there is no disagreement.
