I know it is hard but we MUST ignore the trolls

We used to a force over here and now we just fight. The trolls pick fights and they get to each and every one of us. From this moment on, I am not going to address these guys, reply to their stupid posts or respond to their idiotic comments.
Let's try to get some civility back. We used to have great discussions about all kinds of things until these weasels started coming out in full force and pissing us all off.
Please join me in completly ignoring them and not falling victim to their simple minded fight-picking.

This is actually a really good post, Mike

I have had my share, first-hand, of disinfo moles and how they operate. They succeed in dining on your emotions by enrolling others' to participate.

They know all the fallacious arguments. They poison the well water. They appeal to authority. They appeal to emotion. They miss the point. They slipperly slope. They beg the question.

With their fake accounts and their spoofed IP addresses.

Spin roon junkies. Psyop robots. PR has-been's who couldn't hack at it as a professional writer.

They believe they are doing something of great importance. They grab attention to pursuade opinion. So smug sitting behind their computer monitors. Anonymous bottom-feeding scumsuckers.

So many of them, it's difficult to sort them out.

Let's stay focused. Let's help these third-party candidates get into the debates. Forget duality. That's what landed us with this problem in the first place.

What are some of the things we can be thinking about on how to get into the debates?

What's a Troll

Maybe I'm a little slow on the uptake, but how exactly to you tell a "troll" from someone who is genuinely making a point they believe in? I suppose the site owner could moderate all posts like they do at Perot's web site where you are not allowed to say anything negative about the guy true or false, but that would make for a pretty boring forum.

I was thinking about third-parties the other day, and I came across this quote from Henry Kissinger:

Creepy guy.

One more bump

and hopefully the troll threads have fizzled out

Hi Everybody!

This is an entertaining post indeed! :) I wanted to tell you all that I am NOT a troll (not that I have ever been called one but just in case) and ask that you please consider reading my post about Chuck Baldwin's Facebook. I have been a dedicated (and vocal) Ron Paul supporter for over a year now and I have not considered voting for anyone else until Dr. Paul's conference on 9/10. I was just going to write him in then sleep well knowing that I was not part of the problem when this country goes completely in the toilet. Now at Dr. Paul's urging I am supporting a third party candidate. I have found that Chuck Baldwin has the closest platform to Dr. Paul, has never waivered in his support for Dr. Paul and I am SURE the if he were to actually get elected (I can dream can't I?) that Dr. Paul would hold a key advisory position in that administration. I have decided to put my support there. I started by adding him to my myspace and facebook pages and found that he could really use some help in these areas! I only ask that you all consider what I have said here and if you intend to support Chuck Baldwin please consider reading my post and helping him out.

Thank you and Good Night, sleep tight and don't let the troll bugs bite!

Dr. Ron Paul is my HERO!

Reminds me of a piece of advice

that fanof gave me about handling schoolyard bullies,,, 'ignore them and they'll go away'
It didn't work then, but It had a certain ring of truth to it.
Perhaps the advice was ahead of it's time :P
Then there is the best one, 'if you don't have anything positive to say, say nothing'. Kind of harsh, but if you can spin things positively BEFORE you open your word hole, you will be standing on higher ground.
Come to think of it, this is one of Mr. Nystrom's house rules.
Ignore THEM and you should gop away?
HA! I'm leaving that spelling error in.

im getting better at it- just read one calling rp a liar lol

with the bonus of some rambling diatribe- i resisted to bump the thread with a comment. The new jinc is focused on positivity. My moment of clarity was when i engaged a troll for 2 hrs and felt we had common ground and we understood each other- only to see that he was 1/2 through the SAME argument with someone else when i logged in the next day. Started with the same key points- evoking the same half truths that id "convinced him" were in error the day before (so he had the facts) just here to divide with the time honored emotional hot buttons formula. Meh trolls.
