I haven't been watching Ike very closely, but apparently they're saying it's going to get nasty. Just got the call to stand by in case this thing goes bad. Really hoping it doesn't- 30 days in Katrina was bad enough and I don't want to see anyone going through that again. Got activated for protective escort and rescue if this goes bad.

Good luck TX- if Ike throws a big enough tantrum, I'll be there to help. Here we go again...

Neither I nor any of my crew will ever work with or for them. They are unprofessional and unethical. I'll be using the same crew I took to Katrina. They're good guys (well, our medic is a lady) and we all have a good professional reputation in the industry.

Really hoping this one fizzles out too, but who knows.
