Bob Barr is a cockroach

It was bad enough that Barr didn't show up for Dr. Pauls press conference showing what an arrogant toad he is, then to top it all off his national campaign field director Mike Ferguson slandered Ron Wednesday, go to www.libertystop.semovote.com to read what he said. The Libertarian Party National HQ needs to immediately issue a press release apologizing for this incident and Barr has some explaining to do.

None of this matters as long as we all vote 3rd party and promote voting 3rd party. Let's not drag the LP in the trash to our McCain/Obama friends who don't follow all of this like we do. It will just give them pause to vote for McCain or Obama. Only McCain and Obama are our enemies. Vote for ANY 3rd party and give your friends every reason in the world to do the same. That's our goal.
Pathetic
Bob Barr is a pathetic fat wolf in sheep's clothing. I predict Bob Barr will get the least amount of votes out of any of the 3rd party candidates. Nader, Mckinney, and Baldwin deserve more votes than this obvious moron neocon. All one has to do is an hour or so of research on Bob Barr's pathetic voting record as a congressman to realize he's obviously just another lying piece of shit politician. I'm betting Ron Paul will receive more write in votes than Bob Bullshit Barr will get.

Now I have been thinking a lot
over the recent incident, also based on what I have followed from the Barr campaign. Barr has had several bipartisan meetings over the years, he visited Netroots and in bloggingheadstv he was favoring the "strange bedfellow" alliance where libertarians work together on civil liberties (FISA< Patriot Act etc.) with firedoglake, and people on the leftwing of the Democratic Party (which Nader and McKinney also represent to a certain extent).
Therefore I think it is Russ Verney and Shane Cory (who are both NO Libertarians) and not Bob Barr whio is behind "snubgate". David Francke on thirdpartywatch - who is pro Paul and pro-Barr - has criticized the snubbing of Dr. Paul. Franke is a conservative who has voted for Nader in the past. I think if Barr shake up his campaign and replace some of these people, he will blow more energy and trust into his campaign and will still be the msot viable candidate. It was definitely not his first choice that Root be his VP, he wanted Gravel or Ruwart as VP, which would have been much better. Note that Gravel is/was also very supportive of Nader.
He's not a toad!
It's Eddie Murphy dressed in white makeup, playing one of those "characters". It's all a big joke on the LP.

I wonder if it's deeper than
I wonder if it's deeper than Barr? Maybe that whole party is a farce....
Anyone here a card-carrying Libertarian? Please tell us why that party is such a failure??? Honestly, what have they done over the years? Ron Paul shows up and completely make them irrelevant in a matter of months--what's the deal with that?
reply
If you look at some of the past LP prez nominees ... Ed Clark, Ron Paul, Andre Marrou, Harry Browne, Michael Badnarik and then look at Bob Barr you know something freakazoid has happened within the LP heirarchy and none of it good.

"How can we justify to the unemployed and underemployed in the United States the incredible cost of maintaining a global empire?" - Dr. Ron Paul
Didja see the letter posted by LP old timer Ed Cohen?
LP write-in candidate Ed Cohen(Maine) posted his letter to the LP on another thread here, saying that we RP'ers are "shitheads". who "won't be around long".
The whole tone of the letter essentially stated his utter disdain for us, and that the LP is basically too good for us low-lifes.
I think this LP problem goes alot deeper than just Barr/Root.
Infiltrated
It is deeper, this shows that the LP has been infiltrated at multiple organizational levels. Always remember, it is these lying, unprincipled warmongers who are the radicals and psychopaths, not us.
It is they who present a risk to humanity as a whole with their endless wars and inflation, not us. We must drive them out.

bob barr the tool
will be lucky to get 20,000 total votes. the lp just lost alot of respect for nominating this tool
This says something too
This says something too about the Libertarian party. It would not surprise me if the establishment infiltrated them a long time ago and probably run the show there.
It always amazed me about why the Libertarian party never tried to reach out to the younger folks and anyone for that matter. A poorly run organization in my opinion....
I called this weeks ago.
I called this weeks ago. People blasted me on this site too. The guy is a 'wolf in sheep's clothing' and I said exactly that a while back....
I called this before
You were born. Barr was a plant. Many saw this yet his paid trolls just kept attacking for no reason. Don't mess with true Ron Paul supporters. We are too cunning for the likes of plants and trolls.
I suspected Barr would drag
I suspected Barr would drag people into the deep end of the pool and leave em hanging by endorsing McCain. I still think that's going to be the case.
