ron needs this type of commericial for iowa

I picked up that some of the concepts espoused by Ron Paul that have been reverberating in the hearts of Americans are creeping into the talking points of candidates like (CFR member) Fred Thomson, (ironic isn't it). That is a great add, though. Fred Thomson's being a professional actor dudn't hurt neither.

But Paul's ads don't have to be of that genre necessarily, I've seen independently homemade jobs on the internet that brought me to tears - maybe some of that talent, or at least some of their ideas, can be tapped into?

Paul's sincerity and the message are both winners - anyway he can translate that to the viewer will seal the deal IMO :)

The Fred thompson commercial was the kind of quality Political Ad we need. Fred is an actor and wouldn't settle for anything less than top shelf. Ron is a top quality statesman and shouldn't settle for anything but the best that the market can produce. We donors to his campaign must demand that his media handlers produce quality products. Too expensive?

...if we continue to look at how others are running the race too much, we'll trip over our own feet. i'd rather keep my eye on the prize, stay on message, spread the word, not get into negative personal attacks, stay positive...we'll win that way.

It's funny how all of a sudden all of these other candidates are starting to use free markets, constitution, etc in their ads.

That's a very expensive commercial to produce. My guess would be it would take Ron about 500,000 just make a spot like that let alone get it distributed on all the networks. Fred has all his friends in Hollywood to call upon so I would think he will be on top for production quality this year. My hope is that Ron has some highly qualified Art Directors, Writers, and Commercial production people who support him and that they will volunteer some time and the campaign will be smart enough to take them up on their offer. Because what Ron has now for TV spots are pretty low quality.

I guess thats where those professional acting skills come in handy. I still had to laugh when he said he's for small government and cutting taxes. If you ever look at his voting record it really the total opposite. I know Ron said he wouldnt attack these guys, but really the lies they tell make me sick. Maybe we can get some independent organizations to put together some adds showing these guy's i.e. Fred, Mitt, McCain, and their real voting records, not just the bullshit they are telling everyone.
