glenn beck is on right now and he just said:
"we're being lied to and congress won't have hearings on the economy cos they knows heads would roll. they don't want us to know the truth. well, im starting the We The People court, and you will know the truth and you will know who to vote for."
then he said "i blame the fed, they arent overseen by any branch of the government and they are causing this"
he also said the We The People court will be a weeklong event!

SNOT CUPS for SSI index
I used to like his BS for a while now it is so so . Tonite he had 2 financial guys on . They all ageed more or less that soc.sec. needs to be saved & medicare. All 3 agreed that SSI should go the index route. I couldn't disagree more. Now that the system is in trouble they want us to( bail it out) by raising the age of retirement. They said people are living a longer quality ,life now. As quality & longevity goes up so should the age of retirement. What a crock . Let's face it they blew all our savings. I put in since I was 15, now 59 and there telling me I'm (ok ). I'm living longer . Don't address the thieves just make me work hard & long so you will not have to pay me the SSI payments. That is a real retirement savings plan. NOT. After 44 years of putting into a plan, I wouldn't even take any of the origination monies out of the system . The gains would take care of any income from such a plan. Because the money is no longer in th system anymore I have to start over . Imake my work time longer to get less.GET REAL.

But the cynic in me says he's just another player in the prime time dramafest. He's been cast as the "rebel" of the Left/Right paradigm. If he actually came out and endorsed Dr. P then I would be impressed. Not to mention his ratings would soar . Perhaps his early alcohol abuse has prevented him from grasping the bigger, more meaningful picutre. Or, maybe he figures he can push the envelope with some of his ranting and raving without risking unemployment. That said, I am grateful that he has Dr. Paul on his show, and is usually respectful. (french kissing and overzealous supporters commentary aside).
Beck is a drama queen
In my opinion:
Glenn Beck can be somewhat entertaining to watch - but go back to the clips of him in the hospital... he was totally nuts... (when you are on drugs your true colors show!)
I think he does his job for a living in order to make himself feel important in some sort of dramatic sense. This comes from reading too much MAD Magazine as a child. (See Beck's magazine that he sells and there may be a parallel?) I enjoy Mad so I can say this ;)
Beck is good at what he does but ultimately he 'has no teeth' which would start a movement giving him any credibility. I don't think he is in any personal danger because he can be stopped. He's no Johnny Carson of the nightly news, either.
Glen Beck and Tucker Carlson cannot even come close to the stature of a Ron Paul (as shown by their multiple instances of turning their back on the constitutional principles that support Ron Paul's ideals). They are entertainers not reporters - and they will bend to the winds of fashion in order to sell themselves to the network audience. Or they will go "get a steak" while the Revolution starts without them.
Now on the otherhand, if Ron Paul were to have his own show and talk about Liberty, really debate the issues from all sides, have Ralph Nader on the show to discuss things, but stay true to the core belief of Liberty without the religious BS - I would watch that show nightly!

Here are the words to condition the American people for our next "problem, reaction, solution".
GB: "congress won't have hearings on the economy cos they knows heads would roll." or... Congress is fragile and frightened a fellow victim to the awful big and bad banking bullies.
GB: "We The People court, and you will know the truth.." or.. In the "court" of popular opinion which, your trusted press will feed to you. (Heaven knows a real courtroom would never do)
