Still one of the BEST, most creative ads I've seen!

4 votes

There are a few good ads I've seen proposed both by national and on here, but you know what? I keep coming back to this cartoon ad that one VERY creative RP supporter recently did and think this would be a FANTASTIC ad to be run on television. It speaks our message in a very fun, creative way that NO ONE ELSE would even touch.

I know that some will take exception to the fact it "is" a cartoon, but that's the very thing that would get people's attention vs seeing the standard opening of war photos, American flag waving in the breeze, etc. It also shows that "yes" we DO have a sense of humor!

this

was one of my absolute favorites last cycle. Still fantastic.

Holy Monkey!

How did I miss that one. That was awesome. If it did update the campaign should use it again but with Mitt, Perry and Bachmann in the background.

Just needs some minor updating

Then stick it on TV.

This is great!!

What a clever, different, and refreshing change of pace from the traditional campaign ads! I really do think that the campaign should reach out to the supporters for an advertisement - so many would do it for absolutely nothing and then all the campaign would have to do is pay for the airtime. I echo what many of you already said - think of the buzz that would be generated when the MSM finds out that supporters are doing this on their own!

Wow, I just noticed this 30 sec high quality version

There are diamonds hidden all over Daily Paul, we just have to mine them.

It's wonderful. Can you

It's wonderful. Can you update it for 2012?

Contest to create the best TV commercial

There have been some great videos created by volunteers. I think it would be cool if the campaign sponsored a contest for the best TV commercials. They would not only get some great submissions which they could then run on TV, but the novelty of the contest would certainly draw additional media exposure as well.

Agreed

I absolutely agree with you on this - after the 1st NH ad came out, I was suggesting the same thing (a contest for best RP videos). The people who create some of the things I've seen on Youtube lately are extremely talented and could easily put together some great things. Very impressive

Last I heard

the campaign got the rights to the cartoon

This is gospel truth....

Since we get our news completely from the internet now (other than the ones Dr. Paul is on) our TV's are never on any other channels than Nick, Cartoon Network, and Disney....
I could prolly tell you as much about Hannah Montana as I can about Dr. Paul (ok, I know that's sad)

An added bonus, even though kinda sneaky is the children watching it will repeat it over & over & over....anyone with kids knows what I mean ;p

Totally a great suggestion to get them on these channels!!!!!

oops....

This reply was supposed to go with the post from "Scandanavian".
Sorry about that!

Bump

Keeping this post alive, as I still think this is one HECK of a great AD!

lets air ot on our own

are there any chip-ins for airing this video? how much it would cost to air anyways?

you know this would be really good on disney or nickelodean

You know there are a lot of parents out their with kids watching disney and nickelodean?sp.

This would be really good to put on their networks

Why is this not up on the official campaign website?

Also, operationNH is running some nice TV ads. Maybe they would like to run this one? I think it would fit for Iowa.

WOW!

I love this commercial! Why can't it run for 48 seconds?? Get Er Done!

In a nutshell... TV ads cost

In a nutshell...

TV ads cost money for each second they're on. The average commercial is streamlined to 30 seconds to maximize the amount of ads that can be played for each commercial break. Anything over 30 seconds has extra costs to make up for the lost time that other commercials would have had.

Most presidential campaigns run ads that only last 30 seconds.

There's probably some laws that I'm unaware of too.

grass roots commercial

I would love to see this commercial in NH.

Prepare & Share the Message of Freedom through Positive-Peaceful-Activism.

Very good

get it on TV!

We need to get it down to

We need to get it down to thirty seconds first.

Thanks

It would have to be trimmed

It would have to be trimmed down to 30 seconds from current 48, but it would have an awesome impact on TV. Its easy to watch and you could really put it on TV a lot.

I think the best part of the commercial is that after you are done watching it, you are still thinking about it, about the noise that was turned down and the single voice of reason shinning through. I think it would really stick in people's minds.

Hey I think even the kiddies would like it.

Definately a great idea. I

Definately a great idea.

I can only imagine the kind of head-scratching the MSM and the other candidates would do when it was announced that Ron not only gets money from supporters, but they also make his commercials for him.

It would be priceless. Especially if the other candidates suddenly started trying to get their supporters to do that.

Ooh ooh!! And then the

Ooh ooh!!

And then the campaign could claim that even its commercials are completely grassroots and campaign had nothing to do with it, just like fund raising.

As a matter of fact I think Dr. Paul should just sit back and relax and let us do all the work. We'll call him when its time for him to go up on stage at the next debate, what do you guys think! LOL.

this ad is awesome. I will

this ad is awesome. I will gladly support any effort to moneybomb this one onto tv!!!!
pure talent

Cartoon & FrankDoggs amazing videos should be broadcast

Is someone going to organise a Video Bomb to try and see if we can get these two amazing vids on the TV? I know Frankdogg is in talks to see how much it would cost to use the Creedence Clearwater Revival track for his Ad.

Bump =)

back to the top with you....lol

Awesome!
