closing remark, about the Congress being "focused" on this issue, is doubtful, to say the very least. By and large, they'll do what Bernanke and Paulson tell them to do. The ending insert of el presidente Jorge Bush was a nice touch. :)

They invariably add that tag on the side - that he ran as a Libertarian in 88 - as if it were some Surgeon's Warning on a packet of cigarettes.

It's the Doctor's Warnings they should heed.

is there anything "we the people" can do about this? I've written my Congressman, and am please that this monkey-business is getting front-page attention....but feeling somewhat hopeless at the same time. Sucks.
