Sign Bomb (sorry to use that term) cost of cleanup potential legal issues??

Can anyone comment on if various city & state goverments could sue the Paul campaign for cost of clean up if the signs were purchased from the offical campaign site? Or even if the signs were homemade from supporters? I would hate to see everyone's enthusiam brought down by their efforts being counter-productive....

I am hearing rumors about a pending "sign bomb" to coincide with the Boston Tea Party weekend fundraiser. While the general idea of a fundrasier on the anniversary of the Boston Tea Party is SHEER BRILLANCE, I'm concerned that there could be unintended bad effects.

sign bomb

I understand the concern for the unintended bad effects, though most of Dr. Paul's supporters are responsible people and therefore should be willing to keep it clean, as well as place the signs in areas where permitted. Where I reside, numerous road sides are literally blasted with candidate signs for mayors, judges, etc., I cannot imagine that there would be a problem placing some Paul signs there, and offering to clear out the other signs since these elections are over, yet the signs remain. I do like the idea of the "sign blitz", it is a bit of a tie-in with his Pittsburgh roots, since football fans often refer to Pittsburgh as Blitzburgh, citing the steelers affection for blitzing. Though, I was proud that mine was the first link to come up when I did a search for "sign bomb", lol.

How about a sign nuke?

I think that sounds great. Very forceful and the neo-cons talk about it all the time anyhow so why would they get angry at us for saying that?

sign bomb

We could pull one from the Whitehouse PR folks and call it a sign "surge".

A sign surge

I LIKE that!

sorry, i meant...

I meant the cost to city governments for having to clean up and remove signs....

what about calling it a

"sign blitz" or a "money blitz" i like the word blitz. it rough and tough, yet focused. people put up signs all of the time and there is never any flac, and they can't come back on the paul campaign for something they have nothing to do w/.

I love ron paul!

I like the idea

of changing to money blitz alot better. bradzepfan is right using the term money bomb could be construded as something different.
