Pulled from the recycle bin: time to git this one back out there.

You've seen it. I've seen it. Many people have seen it.

But suddenly, within the past week or two, a whooooole lot more eyes and ears will be open to receiving this message.

If you think what's happening in the financial sector is big, wait'll you see the people, now recognizing the score, rise up and reclaim their Republic!

Spread it, people: High Tide.

Ron Paul Offers Paulian Revolution -- excerpt:

Copernicus is credited with being the first to formulate that planet earth was not at the center of the universe as had been widely believed before him. He insisted that the sun was at the center instead. This became known in science as the Copernican Revolution, which “is often regarded as the starting point of modern astronomy and the defining epiphany that began the Scientific Revolution“. Ron Paul is a modern day Copernicus offering anyone who will listen a world view that is vastly different from the conventional wisdom of the day. He is offering a Paulian Revolution.

and, from the Houson Chronicle:

Gramm to the contrary, we're not imagining this mess

Excerpt:

Perhaps last week's chaos on Wall Street is just the latest collective hallucination in our mental recession.

You remember the recession, the one Phil Gramm said we're all imagining when he proclaimed us a nation of whiners.

Gramm, our erstwhile senator, used the term in an opinion column this summer, when he declared the economy is, in fact, just dandy.

(...)

No matter. In his day job, Gramm is vice chairman for UBS Securities, a unit of the Swiss banking firm that posted the biggest losses from the subprime mortgage crisis.

On Gramm's watch, UBS became so enmeshed in financial folly it's laying off more than 5,000 workers. Somewhere below him, employees file out, clutching pink slips that to Gramm are merely pink elephants for a nation drunk on worry.

(...)

And Gramm helped make it all possible. Not by himself, of course. The financial crisis is so large that blame abounds. But it wouldn't have been possible without the policy decisions of the past decade.

(...)

In the world beyond, known as reality, we see foreclosures, wages cut by inflation and rising unemployment, and we cry out. Gramm, high atop the tarnished Street, hears the cries but doesn't understand them.

It's not whining. It's outrage.

We know who understands, don't we!

Wolf Blitzer Follow-up ACTION

As soon as the RP segment on Wolf is over, contact friends, family, etc. with a blurb about Paul's appearance there, and include something noted in this here thread (or from your own bookmarks or saved documents) to further spread the message of RP.

Pointing folks to the High Tide video would be a good start!

Let's re-use the intellectual ammo we already have stockpiled!

Someone should download and reconstruct the old RonPaul2008.com

Here's a good start:

RP2012!

Alaskaron! You found it!!

This is just what I was looking for! How'd you find this?? I had been trying via Google cache, yet even the cache for RP2008.com was pointing to the C4L! Good job!!

Ah, I just noticed -- you used archive.org's Wayback Machine. Now why didn't I think of that?!?

I am particularly pleased to find the link to RP's stance on Debt and Taxes, the Inflation Tax, and RP's Comprehensive Economic Revitalization Plan (although sadly, that last link was having trouble when I tried to connect to it). Also, here's his article entitled, Monetary Policy is Critically Important.

These are AWESOME links to share with people right now!!!!! Thank you so much, alaskaron!!

I wonder why I didn't think of it till now, though :-)

If this can be easily reconstructed, I will donate hosting space on my www.ronpauldelegates.info site, if possible.

But another more mainstream domain name would be useful too.

I'm leaning toward www.rontoldyouso.com

;-)

That video is so very awesome!

Can someone get this on the DIGG thing

It's Saturday night (Sunday morning now), maybe we can digg it to the top. I agree. I wish we could get this viral now. Fanofwalt, change the title on this if you will, I think that sniper thread kinda turned off a lot of people on here and some may be bypassing this due to the title. I would really like to see that video go viral now in light of what is happening.

I don't know if I've brought this up at night before

But do you guys realize the digg is really just a bunch of kids and that nothing that ever makes the front page of digg amounts to anything unless it has to do with Brittany? And----here's the best part----they actually get annoyed by our stuff.
I'm not really saying don't do it, because I guess it can't really hurt. I guess I'm just saying don't get all excited if something has a bunch of diggs because it doesn't mean anything.
I encourage people to check out the groups at ning.com. There are a lot of adults there in many different interest groups. I few nice chats and bang, WAKE UP! I am anti-digg because I see it as a waste of energy.
One time a guy wrote back when I brought this up, "digg.com gets 40 million hits a day" or some big number like that and I think, "hmmm, 300 million people, could 40 million of them be between 7 and 11?"

Mike, please post this on ning!

Since you seem to know about this "ning.com", please do go ahead, take the initiative, and post this information there. Why limit our exposure?

And if Digg is, as you assert, mainly kids, I can take solace in knowing that a lot of parents have come to RP via their own kids who first heard about him. :)

I never was a DIGG guy.

So I really don't know how effective it is. I just do my part supporting whatever PR we can get and I know we have a lot of Digg people here. I kinda thought the same about DIGG. Doesn't seem like some huge known site that everyday people use for news. Maybe I'm wrong but that's what it seems like. At the same time, any PR is better than none, so God bless where ever we can get it..

Title changed (formerly "Reload and FIRE")

Bigmike, I hadn't seen any sniper thread, so I must have missed out on that discussion entirely -- thanks for the heads-up on that one!

As you can see, I've changed the title; also, I've altered the text of the OP slightly. Hope this helps!

Yea. I didn't want to sound demanding

I'm sorry if I did. This is why I mentioned it.

http://www.dailypaul.com/node/62871

The one today was about shooting someone in a bullet proof vest through the armhole but it has been deleted. Can you imagine what something like this on the active thread forum makes us, RP, and DP look like?
And the real meat is, it was only to pump an ad with complete disregard for the image of this site.

Bumping it up

My heart belongs to Ron Paul, but for now my ass belongs to Chuck Baldwin, www.baldwin08.com

for you, great idea.

Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom must. like men, undergo the fatigue of supporting it.-Thomas Paine

The R3volution requires action, not observation!!!!

i think

we can reload and fire a lot of things....FIRE!!

And we've GOT a lot to fire, don't we?!? :)

YES, Scottish! There are TONS of materials from the Wayback Machine that we can pull up and put back into circulation!

Countless YouTubes -- pick your favorites and spread 'em!

RonPaulReveres 10-minute intro to RP & 39-cent DVD (or watch for free at their site)

The Ron Paul Library. -- the complete collection of writings by Ron Paul: select your favorites and git 'em out there

Any materials you didn't send to MN, get 'em passed out NOW. Hold no literature or DVDs.

None of this material does any good sitting in vaults or bookshelves or hard drives. Go through your bookmarks, pick out the most stunning items you can find, and flood the nation with RP information. They will thank you for it, and I'll bet you anything, they'll ask: why didn't you tell me about this guy before? (even if you have!)

Dang, but I wish there were still links to all the great info on RP's issues and such from his RonPaul2008.com site...but all of that has gone *poof*; not even cached anymore -- it all goes to C4L. THAT was a loss of great information, imho. But surely, you have things you've saved over the past 18 months that will serve the purpose.

Let's get to it!
