I just heard on CNN

that if you pay off your credit cards the cc company will consider you at higher risk and increase your interest rate or close your account. What is this c**p?

I wish all of us in the know, several million, would ban together and refuse to pay our income taxes next year. I would be willing to help get us out of debt if EVERYONE, including C Corps, would pay 10% of all earnings (no deductions). With big corporation paying 10% we could be out of debt asap. And no more income taxes when the budget is balanced.

In a few more days or weeks we will no longer own America. They are selling us out to the highest bidder.

Shell game, watch the pea very closely.

They are not going to bail out the bankers directly with taxpayer money, that would be easier to handle. What they are going to do is buy the bad paper from the banks by borrowing money, they will do so by selling bonds and pay interest to those who buy the bonds, most likely the bankers, this way not only do bankers get rid of their bad paper, but will make a profit from the new debt taken on by the government. No new money will be generated only more debt.

Why don't they take the 700 billion...

and give it back to the people it was stolen from, or the Chinese it was borrowed from, or the thin air it was made out of.

I don't agree with doing either.

Why don't they just not take the money. Let the bad

investments find their genuine market value.

I don't either

but being that it's the lesser of 2 evils season...

AND THE TRUTH SHALL SET YOU FREE

AND THE TRUTH SHALL SET YOU FREE

It's still evil.

That "money" didn't exist, they had to create it for the bailouts. It shouldn't have been created in the first place.

I thought the same thing!

Makes more sense. But that is not what they want, do they.
"For with God nothing shall be impossible"

Because no matter what

Because no matter what "they" do for us (no really "them" because it is our money to begin with) in the end they will still figure out a way to take even more away from us.

...

Well actually it's not

Well actually it's not technically even "our money" and they wouldn't even see it that way if it WERE our money. As posted above the money won't even be created so much as an exchange of debt. Money is just an instrument of debt in a fiat backed system, so in essence it's one and the same.
