If the Republicans were to regain control of The House, getting them to elect Ron Paul as Speaker would be a very doable goal.
Much more so than getting any of the 3rd party people elected POTUS. After all, Dr. Paul is all over the media lately - because many of them know, or have come to realize that he is just RIGHT about so many things, and has been for years.

No possible way, especially after RP denied him his support so many times.
McCain's a pol thru and thru, he would never look at it from the point of view of capability or true conservatism; he'll want a whipping boy or girl in that post if anything and that is one thing RP is not.

if all the Republicans that have ostracized and ridiculed and disenfranchised Ron Paul and his supporters, and, all the Democrats that are about to gain veto proof control of both houses of Congress and most likely their parties leader in the Whitehouse would just make Ron Paul -speaker of the house.
Come on people. We have enough obstacles to overcome with out spending time discussing non-reality based posts.

With Ron Paul as the leader of the House he could make part of Congress do it's job and be once again equal in authority to the Executive branch. In fact the Executive branch means just that! The president is to execute what the house and senate propose.

is Republican control of the House. If it were up to me, there'd be two GOP Congressmen, Walter Jones and Ron Paul. They could take turns as Minority leader and whip.

Paul for speaker.
Anyone can be elected speaker of the house, although it usually goes to the majority party. However if we were to put enough pressure on members of congress it would be possible. Congress is going to be putty in our hands as the economy is going to be on a rollercoaster ride and they need a person in charge who can bring it under control. Ron Paul is the right man for the job.

Pushing for some leadership role would be nice. I doubt he'd get minority leader or speaker though.

We would need a large campaign to put pressure on congressmen and women to elect him.
Probably need to ask Ron Paul
if that's something he'd consider before we launch a campaign! Has anyone done that yet?
I like the idea though! He said that he is getting more respect and attention when he walks in the Congressional halls compared to being ignored before, so this is Doable!
