Mind you, I'm a little short on sleep, so I was primed for an emotional reaction. But when he pointed out that the people of China are exercising capitalism more than we are -- by working hard and saving, rather than borrowing-borrowing-borrowing -- I broke down. I think it was because of his courage; What other politician would dare make such a truthful but hard to swallow comparison?
At the same time, I think it speaks to a reason why his campaign didn't catch on: People don't want to elect someone critical of them who might inflict economic pain.
Yes, he said the pain for his approach would last for a year, whereas the proposed buyout package would last a decade. And hopefully people will think about that. But the package wasn't there for comparison during his campaign, so here we are.

Even with Daily Paul as reinforcement I find myself questioning my own thoughts as paranoia. That's how bad things are...and we've just gotten a taste of it. For years RP has been a rock of truth in a torrent of lies and corruption. As the man said, "Our time will come."

Dr. Paul let em have it...it was a great little interview. Like always he told em like it was and his words seem to deflate Wolf. The best part was when Wolf ask Dr. Paul who he was endorsing and Dr. Paul sorta gave a huff and said: "It won't be either one of them" speaking of Obama and McCain. FANTASTIC!

Paul kept it positive. This is important. "We have to believe in ourselves." We have to present people with a message of hope, not just doomsday rhetoric.

What is begun in anger, ends in shame.

Ok, so the 'pain' will last ten years?
Does this mean we can eat up the stock-piled food, and start over in a few years? That's a long time to scream "the sky is falling"......

I think I'll tell my kids to increase their food stocks!
