Third Parties Crash and Burn in polls

I bet this year will be one of the best turnouts for third party candidates.

it has not really changed so much. Barr for instance is polling a bit higher than the previous time. There is a huge discrepancy in the polls. One has to look at state-wide polls also. Some say third parties polls relatively high, but as election date nears, and it seems close between the two main parties, people decide to vote for either of the two, e.g. lesser of two evils. I hope this will not be the case this year.
If someone vote for McCain instead of Baldwin, Barr, Nader based on Palin, then they are simply crazy and understand 0 about politics. Has McCain's politics and platform changed one inch since he appointed Palin? No, and she will also have 0 influence on him.

this is our opportunity in 2008 to send a message ... we are sick of the 2
party system - when they see the number of votes for Third Party Candidates ... they will begin to see how the Revolution is all working together..... Vote your conscience - for the message - I have to vote for Chuck Baldwin because of principle and the issues ... the main thing is find someone that resonates deeply with you and vote for them....
I can't see anyone in the Ron Paul Freedom Movement - Constituion Revolution ... that could even think about voting for McWar or OBomba

when the economic crissis becomes even more apparent, people will start getting angry, hell they are already angry and will not believe this bull the canidates put on all the time......but soon people will not trust the government much anymore.

Same polls showed ron paul @ 4% in Iowa
before he took 15% of the vote. Polls are created to elicit the response desired by the pollster or poll sponsor.
Most likely just a tactic to discourage more people from abandoning McBama, make them believe it's hopeless.
Same BS we saw during the primaries.

As a long time Nader volunteer, supporter, road tripper and voter (this will be my fourth Nader vote) Having met, and know many Nader supporters, I know personally there are Nader supporters who are unhappy that Nader agreed to Ron Paul's Unity Principles.
I believe you and I are on the same team. Have you read Nader's book, "Crashing The Party", or The Good Fight"?
Nader has been saying it's a "duopoly" since 1992. Ron Paul prooved it. Have you seen the documentary, "Unreasonable Man"? Ron Paul, like Nader is an "unreasonable Man". That is a huge complement for a rEVOLutionary.
In 04, Nader took more votes than Badardik, Cobb, Petrouska and Peltier combined. Polls may be for sheep, but Nader needs 5% to get matching funds.

Control the questions and the way they are presented and you control the herd - my guess - the elites were getting scared and fine tuned the way the polls were presented

Sure, what do you expect. Even people who should know better don't have the common sense to shut off their damned TV's. They continue to watch the propaganda and before they know what hit them they get caught up the dog and pony show of the two parties. Ron Paul is correct, we do not have the financial means to overcome the media on their turf. Our job is to work from the inside out. For God sakes, everyone, become an executive committee member no matter what party you belong to, and start the takeover.
