Just got....
off the phone with the executive aids for my Senators and Congressmen. I told them that I do not support the bailout and I will be watching how they vote on the issue. Additionally, I was told that my Senator (Bob Corker R-TN) was in the meeting with Paulson and Bernanke and that he had some questions about the "Bailout" plan. I will be interested in seeing how things go from here.
Keep those calls coming folks, we don't want a "Bailout"!!!

My co-worker is worried about his sisters house and I told him that's not my responsibility. He told me I'll pay even more if we don't let the bailout go through. I said how could that be if the bailout did'nt pass, how could I pay more? As usual, he changes the subject. I'm unintentionally making enemies at my job, but I won't back down.

If you vote for this or any other bailout of Wall Street you won't be getting this Main Streeter's vote come November. Short and sweet.
Although, when you talk to your Senators you may want to make sure they are up for reelection this November and adjust accordingly. Also some of these guys are retiring so saying you won't be voting them will have no effect.
