New Website Designed to Help With Recessionary Pressures (BETA)

Umake.it - The on-line resource designed to help users learn, share and create all manner of things in order to help them live within their means. The site boasts a community based forum (similar to myspace.com) where users are able to publish the content of their choosing, on their own personalized web space, in order to help other learn from their experience. This site invites everyone to come and make movies, author articles, publish photographs, create groups, file share and and engage with other users as we strive to make more people independent, through home-based production.

The site is only in beta right now and I would love some feedback if possible.

Oh yeah - I think that it is important to note that the inspiration for this site was from the very popular home gardening post here earlier this year! 8]

Good idea for a site. Reminds me too of instructables.com ... tons of similar content there.

a great side. Perhabs it's not the right time to promote it on the DP with all the discussion about Chuck Baldwin.
One problem is, its hard to find the topic without perusing through the videos. The search function seems not to work. So I looked for 'teleprompter', but I didn't get any results, though there is a video about building one.
But anyway, I will put your side on my favourite list.
