The press conference at the National Press Club had a precise purpose. It was to expose, to as many people as possible, the gross deception of our presidential election process. It is controlled by the powerful elite to make sure that neither candidate of the two major parties will challenge the status quo. There is no real choice between the two major parties and their nominees, only the rhetoric varies. The amazingly long campaign is designed to make sure the real issues are ignored. The quotes I used at the press conference from insider Carroll Quigley and the League of Women voters strongly support this contention.

I'm tired of the 2 parties lying. I'm voting for Chuck Baldwin
I will be voting for Chuck Baldwin of the Constitution party because-
1-He will uphold and restore the Constitution and our liberties
2-the Democrats and Republicans have done nothing but undermine our liberties and make a huge debt that we the taxpayer are forced into paying.
3- to quit sending trillions of dollars to countries oversees, and making me pay for it involuntarily, period.
4-to secure and defend our national borders. this is one of the few Constitutional obligations the Federal government has, and it refuses to do it.
5-to return property owners and citizens their rights to run their lives how they see fit, taking that decision making power back out of the hands of lobbyists, the government and it's bureaucracies, and special interests.
6- to do away with the government's treatment of the common citizens as though we are criminals that need to be searched, scanned, fingerprinted, I.D.'ed, tracked, stopped at checkpoints without warrants or the authority to do so. to make us register everything violating our right to privacy. To end the treatment of being guilty and having to prove our innocence. And just the utter contemptible, undignified, degrading, inhuman, treatment of their fellow man. To end the utter depraved situation, that men as head and security of our families, have to endure every time our wives, children, and ourselves are forced to be prodded, fondled, and humiliated, at every "security" check their is. This is so angering that i will not put it in to words. The government just needs to understand and know that this will NOT BE TOLERATED by the men of these united States of America!
It is time to give the ones who stand for the ordinary people and the liberties that our contract with our government, the Constitution, our vote to represent us!!!

I think the CP platform is what scares some people. But then again, I am scared by the GOP platform, which is the party Ron Paul ran under. So I don't place much stock in what platforms say, but rather in what the candidate says.
I have issues with the CP platform personally, but I have been a member of the party and voted for their candidates for a number of years. But I agree that the platform has become more overtly religious in recent years. There is a faction of Protestants in the CP that are virulently anti-Mormon and anti-Catholic. I hope they figure out how to be civil though.

YOU missed the point, Sir!
His personal views are as important as his stand on what the kind of government should be. It's like Ron Paul's stand on abortion. He is against it but doesn't think that federal government should dealing with it (if I am correct).
And Baldwin's stand on what government ought to do seems to be just like Paul's: He wants a constitutional small government.
So it doesn't really matter what he thought about aliens or Europeans a few years ago, in my opinion.
I think there should have been UNITY Behind ONE
candidate...Since Barr seems to bring out so much hatred in so many people(irrationally I feel),then at least let's get behind somebody that can make an IMPACT and perhaps influence the GOP while getting enough votes for their 3rd Party to get on more ballots the next time around...The LIBERTY MOVEMENT needs to be UNITED on a candidate...If it is Baldwin,then so be it...I'll drop my support for Barr in an instant,if Baldwin can make more of an impact because of Ron Paul's endorsement!

I don't think he'll even make a blurr on the radar screen. Look, they minimilized Ron Paul so effectively that the television hosts were even poking rude jokes at him about why he was even running. I'm all for Baldwin succeeding, but if Ron Paul can't make any headway against this 2 party system, I'd say they've got a lock on it now. Too bad.

RP actually believes Baldwin will win. He's putting his vote where his mouth is. He told everyone to vote third party, he did not tell everyone to vote BaldWIN.
Since the doctor successfully has awakened me, I will follow his lead. If you don't like this candidate, vote for any of the others that you agree with. The point was, don't vote McBama.

I Will Support Baldwin When ...
he disavows all federal government social engineering. It doesn't matter if it is the tax code, war on drugs, defense of marriage, or any of the other myriads of regulations the government has foisted on the true sovereigns of this great nation. He is close to the real message of The Revolution but I'm afraid he still doesn't get it.
