Baldwin isn't for everyone
Ron Paul had the ability to draw all kinds of people together and made a point in his speeches to be inclusive to all -- religious and nonreligious alike. Imo, Dr. Paul wouldn't have endorsed anyone publicly had it not been for Barr's shenanigans. The reality is that there is an extreme longshot chance of Baldwin ever beating out McCain, but there is no chance of him getting more votes than Obama.
I live in one of the 2 states where Nader is not on the ballot... So for me it has to be Baldwin, Barr, or McKinney. None of them will be president, so in keeping with Dr. Paul's idea of rejecting the 2-party machine, I will be voting for the 3rd party candidate that best suits me. There are no Dr. Pauls running, unfortunately--which is what we all wanted.
There is a difference between Paul and Baldwin. So while I hope that Baldwin gets a lot of votes, I do hope that this site doesn't turn into Baldwin Central. Paul's vision is unique, and should be preserved.

He's formally endorsed Baldwin, leader of a party whose positions are very, very far from the libertarian line towed by Ron in public. Either he's a sham, or he endorsed Baldwin to "get back at" Barr. Either way, I no longer support the man.

It's faulty logic. How can you expect to break the duopoly from the inside, or by voting for a minor fringe player like Baldwin? The duopoly stands while the entire third party movement flops around like a dying fish. Instead of moving a "fringe" movement forward into wider adoption, this catfight cost us the attention of mom and pop voter.
