Is Bob Barr a Republican Provocateur?
I try to restrain myself from indulging in conspiracy theory (there is so much evil and stupidity, who needs conspiracy?) but I can't, or rather no longer need to, help it.
Consider, Ron Paul
* Is a Libertarian that 'defected' to the Republican party to facilitate achieving office,
* Is causing a schism in the party by refusing to fall in step and support the party nominated candidate
* Will cost his party votes.
Consider Bob Barr:
* Is a Republican that has defected to the Libertarian party
* Is causing a schism in (this) 'party' of Ron Paul's following
* Will cost Libertarian's votes
This looks like Republican *Payback* to me! Could Bob Barr have done anything worse to the Libertarian party? Since Ron Paul's endorsing him, I suppose I'll vote for Baldwin. At least he doesn't overtly sound like Allen Keyes. No floggings for breaking Sabbath laws.

I do believe that Ron Paul made such a success of his movement that the "evil ones" were HYSTERICAL that they were going to lose their "two party system". I believe that 3rd party voting was going to be HUGE this year and this had them scared to death. This is why they treated him so badly and basically boycotted ANY mention of him at their Convention. He scared them right down to their bones.
Therefore my theory has been that they installed Barr/Root as the Libertarian Party candidates to take the "guts" out of that party and try to "hijack" the Paul message. THEN their biggest coup was to put in Sarah Palin with McCain (who prior to her had ABSOLUTELY NO support within the Republican Party). With this "one two punch" the evil ones were able to greatly diminish the "breakaway" vote and feel that they have held on to their monopoly. And for this election it may have worked. I have a family that was NAUSEATED at the thought of voting for McCain..... but are now going to happily trot to the pols and vote for PALIN...... just like good little sheep.
I believe ALL of this was done SPECIFICALLY because of Ron Paul -- and what a compliment that is to the success of the movement.
HOWEVER, I believe that Ron Paul, not only with his message and integrity, but also by his BRILLIANT reaching out to unite left and right under the umbrella of freedom - has started a FIRE that will not be put out and will only grow. I think this fire is going to spread rapidly the worse things get in the country.
So in the long term I don't think that the "bandaid" that they put on this year's election is going to be enough to hold onto their two party monopoly.

Chuck Baldwin needs help! Baldwins website has nothing on his endorsement from Ron Paul - the media has for the most part ignored the whole thing - and Baldwin needs money to get his message out there!
Things for Baldwin supporters to do today - turn your Ron Paul meetup group into a Chuck Baldwin meetup - subscribe to his youtube channel - he only has 413 subscribers as of now - lets at least double that today!
Dont forget to sign the petitions to open the debates to all third party candidates!
