Can you tell someone in the Baldwin campaign that they REALLY NEED to fix up Chuck's website! They need to add a flash widget to show donations (and goals), they need a complete "issues" area, they need a frequently updated blog... It needs to look like they're playing to win.

To them. It is hard to find people who will donate time/talent on a good website. It is hard work keeping a site updated and running. I do agree though, having a great informative site is a must in this day & age. I will post a reply when I hear from them. They may want more suggestions.

I Am Not Officialy With The Campaign...
However, I wanted to give them a hand and had some trouble getting through to the people within the Campaign that could really use my help. Through the National CP I made a good contact and she got me in touch with Gary Odom. From there he and I have been speaking about what needs to be done and how I/we can all help. If you support Dr. Paul PLEASE sign up to help Chuck. You do not have to join the CP if you do not feel like it suits you. Voting for Chuck is voting for The Revolution. My child's future depends on us to keep fighting and I do not see a way to continue through any of the other Candidates. If you'd like to help please contact me and I can get you set up.

I just talked to somebody at the headquarters and he's on the ballot in some 40 states...write-ins in a few ....made ballot in Mass.,but just lost in Pennsylvania....

Is a fellow named Gary Odom. I spoke to him a few days ago. If there are any suggestions or questions you may have I would be happy to forward them on to him. I don't think he'd like it if I posted his contact info.
For those Baldwin people in Oregon and Washington...it looks as if we may get to have Chuck come out and meet with him. More on that to come.

Does he have what it takes to actually win this? Is he the next "Karl Rove" or "James Carville?" Or is he just a political climber, seeing how far he can ride this wild goose? Does he have a plan for advertising with essentially no budget (all of us can max out, we still can't touch what McBama gets) or for breaking the media blackout that will begin the INSTANT he looks like a serious threat?

Define win
If by winning you mean being elected President the answer is no. There is no way Baldwin will be elected, there is no way he'll win a single state. If by winning you mean doing better than the CP candidate did 4 years ago then the answer is yes. In 2004 the CP candidate finished 5th when he received 144,499 votes, 0.12% of the vote. I think Baldwin could get 0.50% or maybe even 1%!

The Campaign People Seem Alright...
The funny thing about the Constitution Party is that they run the campaigns with very little directive from the 'National Party'. For example: I am in Oregon. The Constitution Party of Oregon is not the same as the National Constitution Party. The CP of Oregon is affiliated with, but not directly, the National CP. It is a very 'independent' party and much like Ron Paul's campaign, it is not run from the top down. I am sure we will get treated much like Dr. Paul once we have become a serious threat. This will be another Grassroots campaign. The CP needs volunteers and $$. Please do what you can too help. We may be able to make a huge splash this November if we can just get people out in force on the ground.

Im close to Portland
Salem & Seattle- I would love a chance to attend. If I could ask him ONE question- what should it be? Id like to have him relieve some of the tensions regarding a religious agenda. I havent seen anything that would imply that he'd push his beliefs on anyone - but Id like a statement from him that assures any new recruits that like Paul he intends to uphold the Constitution while at the same time remaining true to his own convictions without pushing to legislate his version of morality.

Dr. Paul is extremely religious. He just doesn't wear it on his sleeve. It didn't stop anybody from supporting him because the Constitution does not give him the power to make the U.S. a religious nation. Chuck Baldwin understands this issue. He would not make it mandatory to worship Christ if he is POTUS. I am athiest and have no problem supportin Chuck. His personal religious beliefs and those of his Party do not come first. It is not the Constitution & Jesus Party. Everyone can just relax. Even the Rebuplican Party infuses 'Christian' values/morals into it's platform and we all signed up anyway. What's the difference now?
