I would downsize and economize with unfettered glee, eat spagetti dinners made from our home canned tomatoes all winter and buy this season's fashions at the Salvation Army --- if I could just know that Wall Street was being brought promptly and completely to final justice.
Those talking heads pushing Congress into bail-out --- they KNEW this was coming. They knew it! They waited and waited and waited till the economic wounds of this country got so infected and gangrene and deadly and ugly Congress would have to be put to sleep so that the money changers could disect and amputate.
That's why they would never let Dr. Paul get close to entering the Executive Office ---he could have done something. It would have been a slow and painful recovery, but, he would have saved it somehow.
Let the "free" market decide Wall Street's future!
If these very bankers were to decide your fate, they would outsource your job, sell off your company to foreign invesors, and deny you unemployment insurance without so much as a second thought.
Then when you were homeless and sleeping on the street, they would drive over you and sue for any damage to their vehicles.
Let them sell their worthless assets to someone else. India, Korea and China maybe?
That's what they would do to us in a New York minute!

I mean seriously folks, you can trust the government. Our leaders will not stray to far from our Constitution.. its just a couple of rights here and there for protection right? Its a measly $700B that our children wont mind paying. Privatize the profit and socialize the debt! The American way!
