Protest the debates and get some real answers. If I could get in I would stand up and be heard, even risk getting arrested. THis is serious, this is our country, do we really want to give up our independence? Enough is enough, these people are crazy.

He is the most profound example of integrity and principles that I have ever known and trusted! I know it is not the man ..but the message ..but THIS man has the record, he has withstood all the things we are outraged about now, discouraged by now ,whining about now.....for 30 years!!!!...Without hardly any support he has done this and yet he has persevered to this moment and time ...where he has himself said it is the epitome of all his work! I am forever inspired and grateful for his example and work.I think of the courage it has taken him to stand up for our Republic...so often alone...and I am in awe... I am humbled. I am thankful.

You're right, it's not a cult of personality. If RP were to reverse himself and embrace the system tomorrow, he would be one of the most despised persons on earth. Thank goodness that will not happen.
In fact, I really, really wish there were at least one other person that had a voting record like Ron's. We have lot's of up and coming folks with great ideals and aspirations to carry the torch. It's just so difficult for anyone to get into a position like Dr. Paul's without promising the farm to his constituents. And even if one of these folks gets into the position of power, it seems like a crap shoot as to whether they will be able to stand strong against the system- look what happened to Reagan (got shot and let GHWB and the CIA call the shots from there on out.)
So no, it's not a cult of personality, but such an untarnished gem is a rare find in today's world.

i was also happy to see others speaking up for us today at the hearings, but i (believe it or not) agree with lou dobbs that if we only protest not giving benefits to the people we have already lost as there should be no bailout in the first place. also- i loved it when glenn beck said he is self taught about this whole financial crisis thing and why aren't our leaders doing the same. they keep looking for answers from the very ones who were instrumental in the problems. huh, who knew!!
