Is It Likely That There Will Be a Violent Overthrow of Our Government?

I don't know what all of you are thinking, but I am deciding not to pay my $5,000.00 towards the $700 billion bail out. As you all know, we have lost completely or are losing completely, via restrictive legislative measures, judicial decisions, and executive orders, all of our 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th Amendment rights. We have seen complete collusion of all branches of our Government. Our political system is now totalitarian in nature.

If anyone here has their wits about them, they ought to begin to consider how long it will be before U.S. citizens will gather the guns and men necessary to form a proper militia and attack the White House. I simply am unable to see any other future for America at this point.

I believe this is precisely why the Army is heading into the United States on October 1, 2008 to begin conducting operations on U.S. soil to quell civil unrest. The U.S. Government knows that an armed Revolution is coming, and it is only a matter of time. They are preparing for it. Are the U.S. citizens preparing for it, also?

Our Government, which is only pretending to be in control at this point, is completely fascist and socialist. It has thrown capitalism, and the founding principles of our Republic out of the window. U.S. citizens are willing to die for a needless cause and no purpose in Iraq. When will they begin to die for the Bill of Rights, and the freedoms established under the Constitution?

The untelevised protests are starting to rise up more and more frequently throughout the country. At the fixed Conventions, UN and World Bank meetings, the anniversary of 9/11, during the announcement of this bail out, people are pissed the fuck off and have begun to riot. It is very much like Revolutionary times.

When the Army comes in and starts killing innocent civilians this is going to continue to piss people off, and incite the public even more. Heavy taxation without representation, loss of privacy rights and liberty, and British soldiers shooting at protesters precipitated numerous protests and finally the Revolutionary War. Now we face the same unjustified taxation without representation in the form of the Federal Reserve, the same loss of rights, the same Government violence.

Is there any doubt that we face humiliating and unnecessary taxes, the evisceration of our rights, heavy-handed Government methods of crowd control, massive unjustified arrests, and excessive violence on the part of police officers, military, and Blackwater against the citizens and general public? It is my belief that this activity on the part of our Government is sure to incite another Revolutionary War. It is just a matter of time. History is repeating itself folks, and we will be witness to it. We may even be forced to participate in it.

I called both senators' offices for VA where I live and told their reps that I would NOT support either of them in their next elections if they support this bailout bill. Baby steps, I know, but it's what I have to work with. :)

If the Fed pays what the collapsed OTC derivatives are presently worth, they could do the entire bailout for one Rupee.

Whether or not tomorrows accounts of todays turmoil prove David Owen of Dresdner Kleinwort right; whether or not this is the beginning of the end of the dollars pre-eminence in the worlds central banks and foreign exchanges, the economic landscape has undoubtedly changed forever.

The US taxpayer bail-out of Americas banking sector is an event whose significance will reverberate for many years. What it means for free markets, for the way Western economies are run, for the prosperity of the world economy, must remain to be seen.

But as investors scrambled to make sense of last weeks events, already one conclusion was all but irrefutable the US dollar will have to take another major fall.

The dollar rally that began in July and pushed the pounds value against the greenback significantly lower has come to an abrupt end as markets face up to the fact that the currency will have to absorb the effects of a sudden shocking increase in Americas budget deficit.

When Treasury Secretary Hank Paulson announced that the worlds biggest economy was about to embark on the worlds biggest bail-out for its financial sector, the first concern economists had was about the long-term prospects for the nations finances and its currency.

I would have profound doubts about such a general

violent revolt anytime soon. It isn't as if we haven't been slipping into our constitutional coma for a long time now. The mindset of the body politic is largely disenaged or unenaged from the losses which they and their children have suffered; losses having to do with their liberty as well as their property. At what point would a group, large enough to make a substantial difference, decide that the situation had deteriorated to the point where physical, even violent, resistance was the alternative of choice? I do not know. I will concede that, at some point in time, enough people will have been affected to the degree where they conclude that they have nothing left to lose and there is not one so dangerous as he who has nothing left to lose. Timeline? I just don't know.

The puny weapons that Americans are allowed to keep are no match for the high energy weapons the government have that can microwave an entire town and all of its occupants to a crisp. I'm old and won't have to live through most of what is coming. In the recent primary election, Americans gave their overwhelming approval and support for the continuation of the NWO and fascism. Even if I could, I would not trade places with anyone much younger than myself. I am sickened and saddened by the ultimate fate being inflicted on the world. My grief has prevented me from getting a decent nights sleep for years. I try to warn people and they all laugh and call me a nut-case. It will take a miracle to turn things around.

Here in Oregon we are having heavy airplane traffic ("cloudseeding?") in the last few days (24-7). Some days nothing, but wow, some pretty interesting patterns x's lines, wavy and all night last night too.

i'm in my 50's and i was called crazy yesterday...

i was asked, "do you think you know more than i do" by someone about 35 who admitted to not having looked at 7 years worth of evidence...i replied, yes, i do...

these are the people (just like me, 3 years ago) who could not believe that OUR government does not have OUR best interests at heart...all we can do is be gentle and try to wake them up...people do not want to be made very very mad...i didn't...i sometimes wish i were still asleep but when i think about that i think about my children...if i sleep now they will have to fight harder later...if i wake up now perhaps their steps to freedom will be fewer

the time will come, it will be forced upon us and, at that time, we will stand together as we, the people...many of us will not live through it, ALL of our enemies will perish or run to paraguay and dubai...

While I'm certain you do not perceive it this way, there's nothing to stop the President (especially THIS President) from purceiving it as a threat, declaring you a terrorist, confiscating your property and jailing you without charges.

A threat is like a loaded gun; don't pick it up unless you intend to use it.

Prognostication is not Conspiracy

Violence may be unavoidable. I hope I'm wrong (I wish I were wrong more often than I am), but it appears to me that Dr Paul's run for the Republican nomination may have been America's last chance to avoid a violent revolution. An even thinner hope remains in voting "third party".

A peaceful transition would be preferable, but the vast sleeping voting population refuses to consider anything so trivial as facts or history when they vote.

And it has nothing to do with the weaponry or anything else of that matter. One accurate citizen with a rifle can take out ten soldiers when defending.

The reason a revolt wouldn't work is because Americans are spineless, soft, and weak. I couldn't see a typical 20 y/o brat standing a sentry post for 12 hours at a time during bad weather. I couldn't see a typical 20 y/o brat maintaining the discipline, morale, and control needed for such a fight. I couldn't see a typical 20 y/o brat having the resolve to go at something so grandiose and difficult for a long period, particular with the large losses that would be incurred at the onset. And I certainly cannot see a typical American 20 y/o willing to go without the creature comforts they've come to expect: "What? No central air? No XBox Live? Fuck this."

We will need to take lessons on alternative warfare technics

from more experienced folks in the occupied territories if we are to effectivly combat the forces that be. Going head and head will mean defeat.

Don't place your bets on

Don't place your bets on Americans just laying back and taking such things in stride. Revolt is not a natural characteristic in humans, they must be pushed into it by circumstances that directly effect them and their families. There are over 100 Million firearms in the hands of Americans and if you don't think that many of them would use them to defend themselves and I honestly feel they would defend their Constitution if pushed that far. The People are angry at this government and will continue to grow more angry as time progresses.
