I just heard that Bush will be on TV encouraging Americans to support this bailout, and telling them they should call Congress with their support. Does this man not listen, we the American people-the majority of us do not want to bailout wallstreet. This is just another fear mongering ploy to make the rich richer, and the regular joe pay for it.

we should start calling the bailout the 'BUSH' bailout. "bush" is a four letter word, pardon the pun, to most people. telling ur congressman/woman that if he/she supports the bush bailout would align him/her with W - and no politician today wants to be associated w/ W.

Here is a thought...
...he could threaten that if it doesn't pass, it will put is into a state of emergency. I wouldn't be surprised if he basically forewarns that if this doesn't pass, he will declare a state of emergency and have his way no matter what Congress decides. This will be interesting...
