Wow, I find it interesting that Democrats like Doggett are using the huge expenditures to justify smaller expenditures, like state-sponsored insurance. Can't these politicians get it through their heads that these programs have to end? The name of the game is now cutting expenditures, not raising them! The taxpayers have been asked to pay for too much. I guess in Washington if you can throw away $700 billion then it's like nothing to ask for $50 million here and $2 billion there.

Doggett is my representative!! I must say that I was truly impressed with his "chat" with good ole' boy Ben. I don't agree much with Doggett but wow! That was freak'n AWESOME! I'm so glad I wrote him a few days ago about this mess! I feel like he actually listened to me! Can't wait to watch him nail Paulson!

I got chills hearing Doggett speak and called immediately. They're receiving lots of calls - keep them rolling in, folks!!

A local New York city newscast used footage and audio of Dr. Paul and Lloyd Doggett hammering Helicopter Ben from today's joint committee hearing. Way to go Ron and Lloyd! I sent e-mail and called my representative (Doggett) to thank him for actually REPRESENTING his constituency. Sent e-mail and called my senators (Hutchison & Cornyn) warning them that they shouldn't even contemplate voting for such a bail-out. Keep the phone calls and e-mail flying, folks.

Call his offices. I did...this is what encourages politicians. Tell them you are a Republican, Libertarian, or whatever you are. He is Democrat, but this is how we wake them up.

This is one of the most IMPORTANT things we can do to shift things...now FLOOD his office with calls of support...you have your mission!!!!
