Id say this is the most attention the congress has received
in a long time. Perhaps it can begin to re-assume its constitutional role after 6 years of rubber stamps and 2 lame duck years. As members of the Senate, they belong at work.

Somehow, this reminds me of what a Libertarian candidate that ran in Delay's district in 2006 wanted to do (I believe his name is Smithers and is running as a Republican in the same district). He proposed like an around-the-clock watch on how he'd vote on a specific bill for example. We need something like a Congress Watch Group.

should turn on CNN. Obama don't sound like he is suspending anythin.

They don't have to "suspend" their campaigns merely to attend a Congressional vote. Numerous candidates (including Ron Paul!) have carried on with their business as Senators or Congressmen while running for office, and they never had to suspend their campaigns to do so.
So why now? Really, InSane and B.O.; why might you guys need to suspend your campaigns simply to do the job in which you are presently employed?
According to this Wall Street Journal article, InSane is "suspending," while B.O. will "join in issuing a joint statement [with InSane] outlining their shared principles and conditions for the Treasury proposal and urging Congress and the White House to act in a bipartisan manner to pass such a proposal," so B.O. hasn't officially suspended anything...yet.
Here's a question: technically speaking, if InSane and B.O. suspend their campaigns, where does that leave Palin and Biden? Also suspended? Or, would they carry on the campaign activity? And if the latter, then I don't think it can be said that the campaigns are suspended, but merely that InSane and B.O. aren't active participants in the marketing frenzy that campaigning generally is.
So, by "suspend" their campaign, do they mean they are simply ceasing to perform the job of marketing, or, are InSane and B.O. removing themselves from consideration?
And if InSane and/or B.O. is/are, in fact, suspending their run...

I have been reading www.fourwinds10.com with articles from "Casper". I don't if it is true or not but it would be GREAT! Yesterdays "World Court to release 3 hr documentary to be televised around the world including CNN, FOX. Make no mistake, they will need every vote they can get. McCain and Obama have been told to get their butts back and push it through.
The calls, emails, etc. must be really dividing Congress. No longer a slam dunk. They need all possible sell-out votes.

We need to protest the bailout at both campaigns.
I think McCain is probably afraid of protesters at the debates. Instead he is going to Washington and assist with the socialist plan to bail out the markets.

Bush's administration is gonna start martial law if Congress doesn't give the international financiers a blank check. McCain's and Obama's Masters have pulled them to show that they might allow Bush to stay president during Martial Law.

My thoughts exactly!!
I was thinking the same thing. Bush will get this $700 billion+ bailout, one way or another. You can believe that the military coming to the "homeland" on October 1st is no mistake. There is something going on and we need to be looking for it.
That exactly how I see it as well.
This way when Bush is declared dictator they can say it wasn't his idea , Barack and Mccain dropped out. I was wondering how they would try to pull it off. I would say If Mccain suspends himself Dr Paul should un-suspend himself at the same time.

Here's what I saw:
the Bush Administration tried to start wars with:
Iran-they blew up a bunch of mosques, killed innocent civilians, blocked the straits of Hormuz and were generally jacka$$e$ by waging genocide on country's on either side of them.
Iran took the humane approach and is trying to sue the American Government in a world court.
Russia-The bush administration told their Georgian puppet to kill 2000 innocent civilians and several dozen russian peacekeepers in South Ossetia. Russia came in and put their bear paws down without inciting further war and the georgian puppet proved to be not totally suicidal by suspending aggression.
And thank god the ukranian government has that wonderful woman who stands for some sense and won't allow the NWO control the ukranian military.
Now the Russian Military is encircling the U.S. without any aggression-but I wouldn't say they won't be aggressive if the U.S. has a full blown frontal assault against either Iran or Russia.
When they didn't get any of those wars started they really implode the financial problem by holding a gun to the congress demanding a blank check for perpetuity. Then everyone's assets are forfeiture to the state, and let's see if that doesn't start a riot.
I don't know if Ron Paul could unsuspend himself and get the party's nomination, but it's a good thought.
