"How can we justify to the unemployed and underemployed in the United States the incredible cost of maintaining a global empire?" - Dr. Ron Paul

It is correct that we buy

It is correct that we buy their product, but if what we buy it with is worthless, why wouldn't they be better off producing wealth for themselves?
They don't need us there are plenty of countries willing to trade with them.

dumb move

LET them dump it ..That will be counter productive as those people are getting used to a new life style..WE buy THEIR product ..THAT move would surely put the breaks on trade with them..BUY your stuff NOW..

I figured China

I figured China would keep the dollar 'stable' until after the Olympics were over. Now that both Olympics (regular and special) are over...they have no reason not to let the chips fly and tank the dollar.

Perhaps the chinese need to

Perhaps the chinese need to start investing in real money.

This could be the real reason behind the urgency of the bailout!

If China and Japan start dumpint the dollar, it could mean the beginning of the end of the NWO plan for one world currency!

But

But the bailout is a direct hit on the value of the dollar. Nothing could be worse for China's holdings than inflation. And the bailout is highly inflationary.

It just occurred to me

I think McDonalds stopped keeping count on their sign at "38 billion served" to give you a rough idea of just how mammoth SEVEN HUNDRED BILLION really is. (thats roughly everyone theyd serve over
921 years ) And we dont even get FRIES with this.

Live Free or Diebold

They wanted to fry you without

having to eat the fries perhaps.

Jinc

Could you explain your math, to make it a little more understandable.

Stop the NWO....It's just illumi..Naughty !

Isn't our government going

Isn't our government going to dump $700 billion dollars on the market if this passes, what is the difference, none!

China needs to dump.

Take the day off from work and spend it calling your congressmen. Get those around you to do the same. The bailout is not going to be stopped by wishing so, action needs to be taken.
Call now, tell them they will lose their job if they vote yes and guarentee that you will take all your money out of the stock market and bank.
This is war folks, wake up, they are selling your country.

its a bluff

they would have no more exports and there economy will come crashing down just as quick as they dump!the world markets greedy mistakes by design were intended to be the final stake to the heart of america so the plan of the nwo can continue as planned and written about many times by many authors. This so called bailout will keep the bullship flowing FOR NOW so china needs us to keep getting our slave labor shitty quality non american poisonious junk we dont need only because it feels good filling a shopping cart full and then putting it on a credit card and paying only the min payments and you just cant figure out where all your $ goes?huh?

food freedom, one seed at a time.

for this bail out then I am definately against it.This looks like they will be getting taken care of while the American people get nothing but a huge new debt.

Well, they're not for the

Well, they're not for the current 700 billion dollar bailout - that's why they're threatening to dump the dollar. Because the bailout will ruin it even more.

China & Japan simply want theirs, too. They want their own bailout. I don't know exactly what they are asking for, but they definitely want something in return for holding on to their dollars.

I suppose you could interpret it as China & Japan being against the 700 billion dollar bailout unless they get something too...

Agree

I think this is correct. They know that everything the US government is doing now is inflationary and that inflation will destroy their major investment. But they are also directly invested in US corporate bonds and equities - like Fannie and Freddie - which will suffer in a deflationary collapse. They are trying to figure out how to lose the least in this collapse. If it is going to be an inflationary collapse they will want to be as be close to the printing press (so to speak) as is possible.

As has been predicted, there is a growing threat that there will be a rush to dump dollars. It is like a prisoner's dilemma. If all the holders of US debt and dollars hold on, the value stays up longer. But if one dumps their dollars first, they will suffer the least damage in the long run. So there is an incentive to be the first to dump the dollars. As the US government continues to pursue an inflationary policy, the pressure on holders of US debt and dollars to flee will steadily grow until some major holder will break from the pack and then the flood gates are open. That will be the end of the dollar.

Sounds to me as if China and

Sounds to me as if China and Japan are asking for bailouts as well. They want to be bailed out of the USD.

They want some sort of agreement in place that will make them comfortable holding the USD. Basically, seems like they are thinking they made a bad investment and want something in return for continuing to hold that bad investment.
