Yes it is true they probably

Yes it is true they probably will buy up silver and gold, that is why we need to be prepared. Of course if they start buying up silver and gold the price will go up and the value of the gold in Fort Knox, if there is any will also increase allowing the treasury to pay for the debt. It could be that the actually value of the FRN if they traded in their U.S. treasury bills would exchange for around 9000 FRN per ounce or even more. Why do you think Ron Paul has been preaching the importance of having competing currencies. Gold back currency could compete with FRN.

Doom and gloom have been around since forever...ignore it

Country Boy Can Survive (1981)

The preacher man says it’s the end of time
And the Mississippi River she’s a goin’ dry
The interest is up and the Stock Markets down
And you only get mugged
If you go down town

I live back in the woods, you see
A woman and the kids, and the dogs and me
I got a shotgun rifle and a 4-wheel drive
And a country boy can survive
Country folks can survive

I can plow a field all day long
I can catch catfish from dusk till dawn
We make our own whiskey and our own smoke too
Ain’t too many things these ole boys can’t do
We grow good ole tomatoes and homemade wine
And a country boy can survive
Country folks can survive

Because you can’t starve us out
And you cant makes us run
Cause one-of- ‘em old boys raisin ole shotgun
And we say grace and we say Ma’am
And if you ain’t into that we don’t give a damn

We came from the West Virginia coalmines
And the Rocky Mountains and the and the western skies
And we can skin a buck; we can run a trout-line
And a country boy can survive
Country folks can survive

blah, blah, blah

The point is this fear-mongering has been going on since cavemen drew on walls.

Most likely, the government is trying to scare us into agreeing (somewhat) to pay increased taxes.

The is another way around

The is another way around the FRN, that is for the TReasury to issue dollar and bypass.

I don't follow your logic?

I don't follow your logic? Why would you want to support the FRN, it represents everything we stand against. We want to see the fall of the FRN but replace it with a real dollar once again, we can't do this as long as the FRN remains strong, and it will remain strong as long as people hold it and do not withdrawl it and spend it. Small farmers want the Chinese to spend their FRNs on their farm goods so that they can pay the bank with FRNs and be free. Of course small farmers will need to employ workers and pay them more as well. Bankers are the ones that fear too many FRNs on the market, because they don't want you to pay off your loan, they want you to just be able to pay the interest. Eventually the FRN will become worthless, but we won't make it worthless, it will just be exposed for what it is.

We won't be destroyed, the

We won't be destroyed, the FRN will be destroyed. Then we will pick up and start again.
grant

Excuse me but when they buy

Excuse me but when they buy U.s goods it stimulates job creation. That is the basis for Austrian economic and the free market. Sure the FRNs would be worthless in the end, but at least in the short term we would have FRNs to pay off our bills.

CHina scares the government

CHina scares the government but it shouldn't scare Americans. If they trade in their U.S. Treasury bills, then the Federal Reserve prints money for the market to use. This switches credit generated inflation into FRN generated inflation, which can be used by us to pay off our mortgages. They don't want to do this because we would have the upperhand for once.
grant

China and Japan need to sell

China and Japan need to sell their U.S. Treasury bills, and then the Federal Reserve will have to print dollars for the U.S. treasury to give them to spend, then they spend their FRNs on our market, generate jobs, inflation and we have money to pay our bills. What's the problem. Oh yea, the government will have to cut spending to pay for the newly printed dollars.
grant

what goods are they going to

what goods are they going to buy from us? We exported most of our true wealth creating manufacturing jobs to them. They will probably use those FRN's to buy up as much gold/silver they can.

China takes risks and China

China takes risks and China wins or loses with those risks. We don't have to negociate anything. If they want to spend their assets, they should go ahead and spend them. We have nothing to fear since it will generate our economy for a change.
grant

hahah ya it'll generate it

hahah ya it'll generate it alright.....generate it into oblivion.

Generate our economy?

Maybe you don't understand . . .

The decline of the dollar, which will be dramatically accelerated by the bailout program, will eventually FORCE these countries to do two things:

1. Spend the trillions of dollars they are holding to buy US goods. This will drive up the price of US goods for US consumers at the same time US consumers are losing their jobs. This is HIGHLY inflationary.

2. Redeem trillions of dollars worth of US Treasury notes. In case you haven't noticed, the US government doesn't have so much as a penny with which to pay back these debts. It will have no choice but to create money to pay them. Again, HIGHLY inflationary.

Because the dollar has been the world's reserve currency and the currency of international trade ever since WWII, our government has been able to essentially export inflation. We have spread dollars out across the globe in a massive wave and it is now reached the tipping point where it is about to start washing back in a great tsunami of inflation.

When these countries are forced to dump their dollars and US debt, they will be hurt. But we will be destroyed. This is the ticking time bomb that will bring a fiery end to the American empire and the US dollar.
