I am an RP supporter who comes here for news. I like to see what others have posted. I am not as computer savvy as most, so am pretty much leaching information, instead of posting. I send much of the news from here to my contacts. I truly appreciate this site. I am addicted to it and check it out several times a day. So, hi to you all and thanks for all that you share.

You have flushed me out of the shadows, too. I've lurked here almost every day since shortly after RP announced his candidacy. You've made me consider with your post that it certainly isn't as if I'm waiting to see if I'm finally drawn to the dialog here.

I am obliged to credit Dr. Paul and his message of freedom as our inspiration to come together, to work together and as the reason I am here with you. He has, and always had, my heartfelt admiration.

Likewise, Michael Nystrom is an awesome role model who walks the walk like few dare. Thank you for your tireless work and this great site. If we never meet in person I have grown to consider you as a brother anyway.

I can share more about my background later if anyone cares. Briefly, I've been around for some time ...a libertarian since my teens, a college freshman in '68 (probably the most exciting year to be eighteen of all the years of the 20th century), read the ink off of Harry Browne's "...Freedom in an Unfree World" in the '70s and, so, on it goes to now, almost 50 years later. Today, I live mainly in Germany, have a "get-away" homestead on a Mediterranean island and return a few times a year to the USA.

So, here I am. I hope I can add an idea or two worthy of your consideration from time to time as this fascinating drama continues to unfold.

Ron Paul's Convention Speech

might feel like I did for the 3 months or so that I lurked, before finally registering.

I saw how often some new member, who someone else disagreed with, was accused of being someone else coming back under a new name ... or being told their comment means nothing because they have only been here for 2 days, or 2 weeks, or whatever.

But I finally joined anyway a couple of weeks ago ... and sure enough, I've already been accused a couple of times of being someone else ( right, SIERRA ? ) and had my length of time on the forum used as a yardstick as to the validity of some of my comments.

Maybe some of you could quit doing that !

I have been watching this board during the past 12 months, but I was reluctant to sign up because I already spent too much time on the internet posting comments on youtube and several forums.

But hey, why not.

I'm from Holland and a huge fan of Docter Paul ever since I saw his first debate when he pissed off Giuliani! :)

There are lots of people in Europe who are inspired by this campaign, even though our media hasn't given him any attention whatsoever. Keep up the fight!
