Excellent News! Chaos in Washington!

Friday, September 26, 2008, 9:47 am, by cmartenson

This is the most explosive story of the day, because of what it implies - a rupture in the formerly seamless power structure down in DC.

The chaos in Washington represents the most serious split of political power in, well, far too long. Depending on your point of view, this is either a godsend or a complete disaster.

If you are the Bush administration, trying to find a crevice of political advantage for John McCain, it is a disaster.

You don't even have to read between the lines on this one.

Quote:
WASHINGTON - Even for a party whose president suffers dismal approval ratings, whose legislative wing lost control of Congress and whose presidential nominee trails in the polls, it was a remarkably bad day for Republicans.

A White House summit meeting on Thursday meant to shore up John McCain's shaky campaign "devolved into a contentious shouting match." And that's how McCain's own campaign described it.

The meeting revealed that President Bush's $700 billion bid to combat the worst financial crisis in decades had been suddenly sidetracked by fellow Republicans in the House, who refused to embrace a plan that appeared close to acceptance by the Senate and most House Democrats.

Both parties have already spun it

Obama was physically there trying to show that he can lead and the Pubs didn't let him get away with it. So it evolved into a shouting match.

Obama instantly got on several programs and said "Despite Republicans, I managed to create an environment where progress can be made." Other Dems are blaming McCain for coming in and stopping "progress".

On the other hand, Pubs are trying to say that Obama can't lead...and that it is wrong that ACORN (Obama's muscle) is getting some of this money.

Since the average voter trusts their stupid sources too much, this will change anything.

NEITHER PARTY IS OVERWHELMINGLY SAYING THE GOVERNMENT SHOULDN'T DO THIS BAILOUT!

Woopee , lets send them some knives and guns.

I love it the republicans

I love it the republicans are waking up to the destruction of our country. They are finally trying to save this great nation after decades of republicratic rule. We might see light at the end of the tunnel people. I sure hope this fails big time and I hope the bankers loose it all. These invisible power grabs in washington are destroying this country and I am glad to see them falling like flies. I am about to goto my bank and withdraw all my money out and put it into a local bank. I am doing this in protest not because I am scared like the sheep. As a matter of fact I am tired of working like a slave and I realize this debacle is a chance for americans to wake up and for us to finally get our freedom...

Hey Obama supporters can You say FREEDOM !!!! I know You couldn't because You milk the hard workers for every cent.

FINALLY!!!!!! Thanks for that! I always wanted to see this kind

of division between Republicans and Democrats! :-)

I heard word today that the Dems were trying to go around

the backs of rank and file (good guy) Republicans direct to Bush. But the R's are takin' it to the people.

I think Ron Paul has had a much bigger effect on the hearts and minds of rank and file Republicans...and now during a street fight they are speaking "Paulese".

The DP is proof that the grassroots support for Ron Paul and his peaceful message of individual liberty is large, real, and not going away!

I like the sound of "at each

I like the sound of "at each other's throats" even better!

Indeed it does.

Um

SO Republicans are on our side? The Demoncrates are trying to slide this one through?

I know - it boggles the mind

Bush and Pelosi teamed up with Paulson, and McCInsane is actually blocking progress. Mind you, McSame does want a "rescue" package, nust not the one everyone else is looking at.

I like the sound of that...

I like the sound of that... chaos in Washington. Uh-huh. Very agreeable.

I love Chaos!

We`ve been brainwashed to fear the word "chaos", but this is not the original meaning of the word (or at least only one side of the coin).
I had ancient greek at school (Germany).
In my understanding, the greeks did not mean "mayhem" oder "disorder", but "lack of (planned) order", which is something completely different. It is the seed for Hayeks "spontaneous order".

Or to quote Nietzsche:

"I tell you: one must have chaos within oneself, to give birth to a dancing star."

Love the Nietzsche quote!

And I have always thought the word was falsely maligned, too. Randomness is the hole in the fabric of the ordinary where genius and miracles jump through.

Truth exists, and it deserves to be cherished.
