Notes from the Presidential Debate

Notes from the Presidential Debate:

Heres my notes I took while watching the debate tonight:

-Obama and McCain both agree on intervention in the market (the bailout).
-McCain talks about reducing spending in Washington
-McCain talks about cutting taxes
-McCain wants a 5,000 tax credit fund for every family for healthcare
-McCain keeps saying “look at our record”
-Particulary in defense spending, McCain wants to reduce spending.
-Obama says McCain agrees with 90% of President Bush’s policys and president Bush has increased spending
-Obama wants to send 2 to 3 additional brigades to Afghanistan
-Obama wants to invade Pakistan
-Obama wants to rebuild the Georgia Economy

Anyone else get anything else, what are your thoughts?

It's not so much was I heard,

but what I saw. I was busy reading the mostly stupid Tweets, looking for mine that never showed. What I saw was that same stupid McInsane sneer, while he could never even look at Obama. How much of a turn-off is that? I saw Obama stumbling around, never really connecting. It's like Ali when he was old & over-weight doing the RopeAdope with a younger, inexperienced fighter. Why couldn't we have a real debate with intelligent debators? Instead, we get a mismatch.

Are you sure McCain said he wanted to reduce defense spending?

I didn't hear this, "-Particulary in defense spending, McCain wants to reduce spending."

he did say that

Tragedy & Hope 1966

The two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can ‘throw the rascals out’ at any election without leading to any profound or extensive shifts in policy.... But either party in office becomes in time corrupt, tired, unenterprising, and vigorless. Then it should be possible to replace it, every four years if necessary, by the other party, which will have none of these things but will still pursue, with new vigor, approximately the same basic policies. - Carrol Quigley, Bill Clinton's mentor, and a CFR insider 1966

If the candidate is on TV, he is no good for you.

I fell asleep

about ten minutes before the debate was over. I was bored to death. Same crap, different day.

I keep hearing Sen McCains Experience

in foreign policies, Does a POW count as foreign policy expert? Where does his foreign policy experience come from. As a senator how much interaction did he have with issues involving another country?

he did go to Iraq a couple times, you forgot that! lol

I heard a mental case lie fest from start to finish.

Stop the NWO....It's just illumi..Naughty !

They are the same...

They will both vote for the bailout. They both agree that Russia started the Georgian conflict.

But being a poor man, I would prefer but never vote for Obama.
