Sunday afternoon Bailout Letter to Congressman & Senators (update)

If there are no other choice for the election, even if we do not want the existing representatives, won't they still win even by only 7% voting for them. Do we have a choice. Who are the choices I have in Iowa for senate and representatives for the coming election?

Why pay a private corporation (Federal Reserve)
Interest to print our money when we can print it
Ourselves interest free and charge them interest to borrow?

My plan deserves consideration for the benefit of the taxpayer.

1) Insure individual deposits especially retirement accounts.

2) Seize the mortgages; eliminate the interest and level out the principal to be paid in equal monthly installments respective to current contract time obligations.

3) Abolish the Federal Reserve!!

4) Credit cards should be frozen and paid in a set amount monthly or forgiven as they are Ultra Vires (Void) contracts anyway.

5) Pull our military out of 90% of the world and bring them back to the U.S. and get out of the wars!

This would stimulate the economy and save lives!!

I have contacted my state Gov / Delegate and Senator. The State GOVERNMENTS need NOT get off the hook EITHER!! If all 50 STATE governments need to be PUT ON NOTICE too. The states NEED to revolt and join the US citizens against this bailout.

RE: Oppose $700B Bailout

A stronger message than US individual constituents persuading the Congress from passing this disastrous BAILOUT atrocity against the US citizens and the give-away to Financial Organizations is seriously required. The financial and mortgage firms have taken the profits; now they need to work out the losses as well. Free handouts are NOT going to fix the economy and hard work/scaling back to manageable means are the only logical solutions.

I ask that you strongly oppose this bailout for all of Virginians. Bring to bear Virginia's State strength to prevent this bailout. This insanity of appropriating funds, that do not exist and can we can ill afford, must stop. Our government’s complacency to run roughshod over our constitution and disregard the will of all Americans will cause more turmoil than financial ones.

I look forward to your strong leadership to make clear to President Bush and the US Congress that Virginians will not stand for rewarding criminal activity of financial institutions and then bailing them out. NO bailout of any kind is acceptable to Virginians or the American public.

My congressman (who's rabidly for war) actually has my back on the bailout issue. Unfortunately, it seems KBH doesn't. My letter to Texas senators reads:

I've shared my viewpoint with the office of my congressional representative with regard to this ridiculous bailout (now laughably called a "rescue plan") but this is the first I've written you on the matter. I'm sure the debates are contentious however it is now being reported that y'all are close to a deal and I'm worried that the pro crowd is trying to slam something through while most Americans are watching football and before the Asian market opens. I also know that you are working until the wee hours and are likely exhausted so I want to implore you to stand firm with Ron Paul, Louie Gohmert and others against any sort of bailout. And, it would be great if you could call it what it is: state sanctioned theft. After all, this making fuzzy of the English language is just one of this country's problems.

I wrote my e-mails this morning too. I told my Idaho reps that Ron Paul represents me and I would like them to stand behind him in opposition to the bail-out, because Ron Paul is RIGHT. I told them that RP predicted this and knows how to fix it.

The person I spoke with wishes to remain nameless, I can respect that...they work for an office they hate but said..a job is a job..and he had to feed his family and pay his bills just like the rest of us...But heres the important part...

He said there will be 2 votes.
Vote #1 will be where it looks like our so called government, is struggling with the problem..to bailout..or not to bailout
Vote #2 will only be a few choice people from government. They will and he believed already have, voted on the bailout..and he believes it will pass.
Bush and others, are making threats left and right if they do not agree.
The threats are going from things like:
Putting a strangle hold on each state Rep that votes against him..that state will then pay a price..no Federal help..(housing...monthly checks..food stamps..all things people do depend on..gone)
Marshal law in those states
Military take over of the state capitols

Are you ready for that? I am..Hey if their going to kill me..my problems are over...Its the only way I can look at it.

Freedom is another way to God...A corrupt government is a straight way to hell.

Voting for bailout will have a negative outcome on your political career. We the people will work to have you removed from office or campaign against your reelection, we will remember if you sell us out.

Representative and Senators, you also need to give them an alternative to this mess. Refer them to this link. He is willing to fly to Washington and testify before Congress until oath as to why he thinks his plan will work.

I would like to recommend that when we email our family, friends and acquaintances and ask them to contact their Senators and Congressman; we make it as easy as possible for them by including a link or links to sites that contain contact information. The easier we make it for someone to write an email, the more likely it is that they will actually do it. One good source for contact information is http://www.visi.com/juan/congress/ (I am sure that there are many other sources).

Hey guys i wanted to thank all of you for keeping us informed, I just called all of my representatives and of course they are not taking calls or the line is busy. I was able to get a hold of one of my representatives and he has stated that he is oppsed to the bailout, the calls are working lets keep calling and keep the heat on . I will continue to get thru to them and continue to email them.

Stand

There are several grammatical changes that should be made to the letter, but I feel the most important is the following.

In the beginning of your letter, you wrote "Please do not vote for ANY bailout package...". Litterally speaking, this tells them that you do not want them to vote at all, and gives your reps the option of abstaining, or voting "present" which is unacceptable, because it gives them the opportunity to weasel out of deciding to take a stand one way or the other, in an effort to kiss ass on both sides of the issue.

It should be changed to read "It is my desire that you vote 'NO' for ANY bailout package...". This sends the clear message that you want them to take a stand and OPPOSE the bailout.

The voting rules really need to be changed. Our elected officials must not be allowed to cast anything but a "YES" or "NO" vote. Allowing them to do otherwise simply encourages laziness, indecision, and cowardice, and I for one am NOT paying them to be lazy, indecisive, or cowardly.
