CNN Just had a propaganda spewing.
The spin begins. I just saw the first mostly pro-bailout piece of all. They had an economist on spreading doom and gloom in the future if the bailout is rejected, and a female reporter (I do not know her name), that seemed to remain content with an attitude similar to "it's not good but might be necessary."
Americans need to remain focused and continue calling their Senators and Reps. This is America's chance to escape the grip of tyrannical huge corporations by letting them fail. It will be tough yes, but small businesses will bloom and prosper later when huge corporations still have too much overhead and not enough cashflow to function which also puts a dent in their lobbying and special interest power.
If you have already contacted your senators and reps, look up the numbers for other people you know, give them the numbers so that even the laziest have it as simple as possible and urge everyone you can that has not yet called, to make their call. Get on the phone, call your family, walk over to your neighbor's house, say hello, have a beer and strike up a conversation if it's a nice day, etc. Another great place to bring it up is in a checkout line at a grocery store where five others overhear it. You'll be surprised how fast the whole line jumps into the conversation. It is imperative you instruct them to say they expect NO bailout in ANY form. Zero. Zip. Nada. Not a deal, not a compromise, NO BAILOUT period. Tell them not to fall for TV pro-bailout propaganda.
I have to run for cigarettes in a while. I'm going to print out the names and numbers of the Senators and Reps for my area on a few half sheets of paper and take them with me, so I can hand them out if I get the opportunity.
Well I printed 20 papers with the numbers
I handed out 3 when I went to get smokes. Thats 3 more people that may call that are against the bailout. It was simple, just asked out loud, "so what does everyone think of this bailout nonsense?" Boy that's all it took to open up dialogue.

Ok C4L needs to make up refrigerater magnets for each state
that has all the elected officials phone numbers on them and a phone number on it for reordering a new one each year. We can hand these out to anyone we come across it will make it easer for people to call. I personally would like to have all 50 on a big magnet for myself.
Not only NO bailout
in any shape or form, but they are put on notice. They have all outed themselves as to who is who and what they are for. They can't have it both ways. Either they are representing us and our country or they have either been bribed or compromised in some way to support a unconstitutional, criminal, treasonous plan to subjucate all of us. If nothing else, this has clearly shown us who is who and we will remember. I am a little bit on the warpath today. It is absoulutly incredible to me that this whole thing can even be suggested by anyone with a straight face. Why not cut to the chase and ask all of us to empty our checking, saving accounts, 401Ks and hand over our paychecks to bail out them and their buddies for something THEY created. Oh, and I almost forget, foreign banks and institutions are also our responsibility. This whole thing can only be called insane, and would be funny if they weren't serious about it.
