Ron Paul hasn't said anything that anyone who took Econ 101 couldn't have said (and have said).

This is basic economics and these ideas were covered in my textbook written by Milton Friedman.

What Ron Paul should be admired for is his tenacity and courage for speaking the truth to power.

Faux news is simply using Dr. Paul to give the impression that the house republicans are against a bailout in any form.........this is not true both sides basically are for the bailout...just not the details....what we need is a press conference where Bush, Paulson, Bernanke, Pelosi, and Reid are positioned in front of the Fed printing press all waving their magic money wands as ole betsy gets cranked up....

it is token praise, because backroom deals about the bailout are happening as this facade is being shown. i cringed at the cnn and yahoo report,yesterday i think, that said 68% now favor the bailout, from 7% a day before. also, the trumpeting of negativity seems to have stopped in the old manipulated corporate media.

i cant seem to find a scenario where this takeover[bailout] can be stopped. whatever tricks you guys have up your sleeve, better do it fast. there is no turning back after this legislation. good luck

In order for the New Deal to work two factors had to occur. First the U.S. government needed people to invest in treasury bonds, this is how they stole our gold and second people had to accept the use of credit. So it is logical that in order to bring down this house of cards we need to do two things, first sell our treasury bonds and second don't accept the use of credit.
Get your money out of the JPMorgans and transfer it to your personal bank right in your own home. Be sure to exchange it for real American money, silver and gold. Stock up on food and supplies. Consume less gasoline and find alternative ways of transport, walk, ride a bike, buy a horse, use the bus, carpool. This is a war we are in. Work with friends and family to protect your neighborhoods. Do this not out of fear, only a fool acts out of fear, but do this because a wise man prepares for hard times.

Fortis is the bank that predicted Ron Paul would be elected US president because the US would enter a severe depression. They could yet be right. The Electoral College electors can vote for whoever they wish and they might conclude that neither Obama nor McCain has the right stuff to manage the crisis.
