Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?
As it happens she sent me the link to this thread and was a little amused by it all.
She's busy with New Hampshire politics (what's left of it) and is a fighter, as you may remember.
She has no use for McCain, but that's no surprise. The man is a menace. I don't know who would be worse - McCain or Obama.
I think most of us are glad that RP is still active and a force for change. I just wish more people had paid attention to his warnings about the economy. But the U.S., the media and the politicians are not known for their brilliance. As some of you know I used to work for NBC until they found out I'd been to college.
Cheers to all - !
I wish she'd return !

I will always be grateful to Jane, My God, didn't she say she tried to convince Dr. Paul to run and hosted his first fundraiser?

Dr Paul Cured my Apathy!
Posted September 21st, 2007 by Jane Aitken
I like this video of the crowd at the rally in Seattle because I saw a sign that said, "Ron Paul cured my apathy"

Dear Friends,
I want to thank those of you who voted for me, displayed a sign, handed out flyers, or otherwise spread the word.
Having said that, I would ask that you PLEASE go to the POLLS and vote for all 6 of our GOP candidates on November 4, 2008. Here's why this is so important...
In 2006 voters thought they were 'punishing' Republicans for the policies of George Bush. Let me remind you that our State Senators and Representatives do NOT go to Washington DC to vote and thus have little to do with the policies of the national Republicans. As a result, NH citizens are now being 'punished' with the extremist left-leaning policies of the Democrat legislature under Governor John Lynch.
NH Republicans are who have kept NH an island of economic prosperity and personal freedom in a sea of disaster states like Mass, Vt, and Maine. Governor Benson left us with an $80 Million surplus and we've enjoyed #1 status as the best state in which to live for 5 years running. (Morgan Quitno Press rankings)
However, since Democrats took over in 2006, the results have been dire.
NH has seen 25 new taxes and fees levied (with many more proposed including income and sales taxes), and in what Tom Thomson calls a 'statewide zoning law' has had property rights endangered. More human rights are now at risk thanks to the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative thanks to the 'global warming' hysteria.
Residents of New Hampshire could soon have their ability to choose how they live, how they travel and what they buy taken away from them. The New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (DES) is currently considering a large basket of costly new taxes, subsidies and regulations designed to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases. They include statewide restrictions on zoning, housing development, energy use, industrial processes and transportation.
Family and parental rights have been breached with regard to homeschooled and minor children, and we saw the blocking of the enforcement of federal immigration laws.
On top of it all, NH now faces between a $300-$500 MILLION deficit thanks to the borrow and spend policies of John Lynch!
THIS IS NOT THE NH YOU AND I KNOW OR WANT!
You can read about some of these issues here:

Suffice to say, business and personal freedoms will not thrive under more Democrat rule in NH.
This is why it is so important to support our GOP candidates in Bedford and statewide, as well as our GOP candidate for governor, NH Senator Joseph Kenney. Joe earned an A+ rating from the NH Liberty Alliance by demonstrating his concern for fiscal responsibility and the protection of personal freedoms.
You can see Joe's website at http://www.kenney08.com/
Remember, the Democrats are bad for business, bad for NH's economy, and bad for personal freedoms. And if they aren't voted out, things will just get worse.
Please spread the word, and see you on voting day!
Thanks!
It appears that she's fighting
in the trenches of New Hampshire, once a state that boasted "live free or die"!
The tax and spenders appear to have appropriated that once free state....probably alot of the uber sophisticated"citiots" who have moved up to pristine country and just couldn't stand not spending on everything not to mention change, change, change and their insatiable appetite for control!
"Bad men cannot make good citizens. It is when a people forget God that tyrants forge their chains. A vitiated state of morals, a corrupted public conscience, is incompatible with freedom." Patrick Henry
What the heck?
"Does she still post here, or does she hate us?"
Uh, maybe she's busy or doing some other productive things in NH.
uh
it was just a question.
I remember her being quite frustrated, and then disappearing.
But I see what she's doing. I just don't want her to hate us, man.

yes
I remember a couple of principled debates I had with her. Struck me as a real party type. Perhaps she is working for McCain's election.
She left after NH didn't
She left after NH didn't make RP a winner.... why?
