This makes me SO mad!! We
This makes me SO mad!! We don't want ANY bailouts and we don't even want the damned President! We do not want what HE wants and we don't think it is SOOOO urgent that we have to become even more socialist..for crying out loud, all the banking regulations the Feds have laid down has not even worked!
The banks are heavily regulated, but not the investment
banks like, Goldman, Lehman, etc.. They were allowed to create and sell whatever risky scheme they wanted. That's the problem. And the head schemer was none other than former CEO of Goldman Sachs...Henry "down on one knee" Paulson.
It brings a whole new meaning to: Fox guarding the hen house, doesn't it?
Wonder if
Bush has promised those who vote for his bailout scheme of "No Banker Left Behind" that they will be reelected, because he knows the people who manufactured and maintain the black box voting machine?
Technology is great, but it has no place in our voting system.
The Iraqis got it right with paper ballots, purple ink, see thru ballots boxes and hand counting at the precincts.
Bet there was less fraud in their elections than there are in ours? Maybe that's why these idiots keep getting reelected, duh?

If this thing passes despite America's unanimous outcry against it, what I would love to see is this:
Monday Morning...There has gathered the largest group of peaceful protesters around the NYSE that no on can get into the building. The markets are at a standstill, nothing can be done. There are so many people that the NYPD is powerless. No trading can commence....the People Have Spoken!

I have been e-mailing, phoning and faxing half the country for 3 straight days...guess it's going to take a few more. I think this may be the MSM attempt at propiganda to get us to let up---don't fall for it. Keep up the pressure.

Maybe they are talking about all the hard work he did as
CEO of Goldman Sachs when he created all those risky schemes that have now turned into toxic financial WMD's. He created them let him and his Wall Street buddies bail themselves out. He can use that $500M he got from his Goldman stock sale.
I'm willing to take my chances that this bailout is nothing more than smoke and mirrors...nothing but a dog and pony meant to pillage the treasury and rob future generations of their future. All for a few greedy people.
And by chance it's real at least they will share in the pain. along side the rest of us.
