We're All Slaves -- Let's Make it Obvious that We Are
This is not intended to be a negative thread. Here's the background to the idea.
A Senator in the old Rome Republic once told another Senator that they should have a white armband around all of their slaves so it would be easier to identify them. The other Senator was much wiser and said that if they did that, the slaves would realize that they outnumbered us.
My proposal (not really mine, but a friend of mine is going to do it, and I am as well ... figured I'd give the idea a push here): We start wearing white armbands with the Latin word "Servus" (meaning slave) on it. This way we have a way to begin identifying each other, and maybe, just maybe, we will outnumber them. We may as well do this while we still can, before the wearing of white armbands will be illegal.
I get it now...
This is why we are repeatedly called a "Servus" Society. Sure, sure they dress it up and call it a "Service Industry", but it all has fallen into place for me know that I know what servus means!
I've got a better idea...

I actually was thinking of something similar the other day
What if a bunch of people at a protest had coats on and when the cops move into arrest them they all at the same time took off their coats and put a hat on and they all had on black and white striped outfits like the Jews had to wear and you had people off in the distance film it what do you think would be the reaction of the cops and what if it made it onto TV or onto the internet. I wonder if it would make people think about how we look to the rest of the world.

This is not a threat to the police
This is a plea to the humanity. This is a collective awareness. The POLICE may even start wearing them, my friend! It's not an act of violence! It is an acknowledgement, without having to force speech on another person who sees you. They will ASK YOU "What's that about?" You tell them, they realize it, they may join you!
We are not clueing them in to who is resisting them. It is a plea and a non-violent way to galvanize us all.

Remember that everyone is family. The police and the army are NOT our enemies. We just have to make them realize that they are with us. Most are.
I was leaving the office the other day (I'm a grad student in Mathematics), and there was a ROTC exercise occurring on the main quad on campus. I asked some of them if they were going to be on our side when the time comes. That is, I wanted to clarify that they would protect the PEOPLE in the country above COUNTRY itself. They all said yes. Before I even had a chance to ask, one of them said that they took their oath to uphold the Constitution seriously, to defend us against enemies both foreign AND domestic. It made my day.

We need to stop living in fear! That's how we are controlled. If we realize that this has all happened before and will all happen again, then there is nothing for us to fear -- mainly because we'll be coming back. So then, all we have to do but to make the world a better place for our return. If we FEAR making the world better, we have failed in our mission.
All things that were, are, and will continue to be. We exist now, so we have always existed and will continue to exist -- maybe not in this form (i.e. our current 'consciousness'), but in some way. All things that are, are as exactly as they should be.

I just think ...
that this will be more of a useful tool to help identify ourselves. Clearly, an armband is not going to educate the populace -- that's our job. However, when SHTF I don't want to have to walk down the street and constantly think "Can I trust this bloke?"

Of course we're all slaves. We have been for many many years. That's too obvious...are we really so dumb we didn't know we outnumbered them?
Anytime anything is suggested that would put some power back in OUR hands the objections rise by the dozens...but 'they' will do 'so and so' to US...uhhh...dang it..'they' can't do much if ALL of us do whatever is up for consideration. Can't seem to get more than a dozen to agree on anything.
To me....stop sending them money...is key.
