What you DIDN'T see on CNBC
Hundreds of protestors demonstrated agains the proposed $700 Billion bail out plan for the finance and banking industry, yet the national news media in America didn't even report it! Why not? It seems strange that this barely generated a gander from the big news outlets like ABC, CNN, CBS, NBC etc. all of whom have a presence in New York City. Despite having such a large protest event occurring in their backyard, the major news media chose not to tell the American people about it. I had to stumble upon this on the internet to find out about it. That's really indicative of the pathetic state of affairs in the U.S. media today.
Anyway, in case you haven't seen it, I have collected a bunch of video from the protests on Wall Street (Sept. 25) and posted them below. Have a look at what the news media DIDN'T show you! Warning: some of the protest videos contain profanity.

Basically if you keep digging news, all you do is read news. EXPOSURE must equate to ACTION to have any effect!!! And action is severely impeded by the fact that people aren't organized. So I want to see people start to use this and mobilize MASSIVELY against your tyrants!

Couldn't download the first draft of bill when using Mozilla. Had to copy link to IE then into DailyPaul. Posts on Daily Paul showing up via IE browser behind with the posts showing in Mozilla. Download of draft was ok in IE.

He/she is right, that is hardly enough protestors to stir up the powers that be (i.e. media, etc). Most people I meet on the street are scared out of their wits and want the government to save the Wall Street Bankers to keep this monstrous of a beast system going for as long as possible. But I like the video, I posted it on my blogspot.
Enough to be 'ignored' by the press..
In NYC, if two people get together to protest for gay rights, or black rights or latino rights, the press is right there providing coverage.
On the other hand, if several hundred or several thousand get together to protest something the 'free and unbiased' press disagrees with, they can light themselves on fire and still not get covered.
Again, thank God for the internet or else even we wouldn't have seen it.

in political movements, this protest action is "spontaneous". it gathers people, and unites them to a common theme regardless of division/labels by the old manipulated corporate media.
remember its importance:spontaneity. in a span of less than 5 days, people are protesting together, and increasing.
keep the numbers rising. it is irrelevant when body numbers are used as basis at the moment--this isnt an activity planned for weeks or months, but a spontaneous outpouring of indignation.
this IS people power. and it will grow. and it will be unstoppable. it can be capped,but it is like a volcano rising underneath. a virus, a shared indignation, a common uniting theme of "ENOUGH". and it will infect all Americans in spite of the americanidol programming or the circus sideshow presidential performer elections
the seeds are being planted by these few people. it will grow

My beef is that we always seem to be
blaming the media for ignoring us. That's a copout. It's our own fault for our own lack of numbers when the media ignores us. They didn't ignore us with the Rally for the Republic, because we had 10,000 plus people there.

There were less than 2000 at the march. That's obvious from the photographs.
At the beginning of the rally
the crowd was in excess of 10,000. As the day wore on the intense heat dwindled the numbers to 3,000 or so.
I was there from the start and have many photos.
Looks like there are a lot of 2000 people in this video. LOL.
