Now at 97.30 / barrel and falling. A falling market isn't such a bad thing, since inflated prices will be lowered as all the money supply gets depleted; plus businesses that are actually making money / profit, like Walmart, aren't going to be depressed for long since they actually have earnings.
On the plus side of all this, if we can start mobilizing local businesses, and localized banks, we can actually start to take our country back, fix up our communities and people will start paying a LOT more attention to their Congress / never trust them again.

The slow economy has been good for me.
I run a computer repair business from my home, and since I'm one of the lowest priced companies in the area, I'm getting tons of business. Plus, I'm not stupid enough to have all the overhead and debt that everyone seems to think businesses need to succeed. I've been profitable from the first year I started, and now I'm flourishing because people are looking for someone who's reasonably priced and reliable. Imagine that, I don't need tons of debt to succeed in business..... Wake up people, they're lying to you!
If the price does not find it's "true" value
The world markets will know that the speculation has been a joke for the last 4 years. They have no choice the price will fall to reality which is about $60. We have been lied to for a long time. The speculation has to end now.
It's actually worth much less even , i have a palestinian friend and the price there is about 25 bucks a barrel. we are being lied to.

96.19; as speculators jump out and money leaves, that means oil futures fall as well -- as gas prices fall, cost of everything will go down anyway and that frees up capital for more businesses since they're not spending it all on fuel for shipping and that means: hello more liquidity.

That's true. I'm not buying deflation, just a reduction of
the artificial bubble that wasn't based on any actual supply/demand fundamentals. But, if the injections don't manifest themselves in loans, then they were for nothing. If they do end up adding liquidity to the market anyway, then that just proves that the whole bailout was unnecessary and no one will trust the Congress / Administration ever again. Either way, it's a Win-Win. Don't you think?
