Thank you and I am sorry I assumed

Just seen Baldwin and freaked sorry everyone!

Baldwin?

Are you sure this is CHUCK Baldwin, or who do you mean??
I don't think Baldwin is member of Congress.

NOT CHUCK BALDWIN

You are right; he is not a congressman.

RP2012!

ALL Arizona representatives voted Noe.

Keep the heat turned up!

"It does not take a majority to prevail... but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men." Samuel Adams

“Just look at us. Everything is backwards; everything is upside down. Doctors destroy health, lawyers destroy justice, universities destroy knowledge, governments destroy freedom, the major media destroy information and religions destroy spirituality”

Did anyone notice

that Baldwin voted for this? That concerns me. I would think that he of all people would have voted against it.

That is NOT Chuck Baldwin!

Chuck Baldwin is a Florida Baptist minister, radio talk show host and all around patriotic American who happens to be a candidate for president. He is NOT a congress critter.

Advice. It is better to keep your mouth shut and let people think you are ignorant than open your mouth and erase all doubt. Please check your facts before making a post.

RP2012!

Noticed Kucinich voted NO

Ofcourse RP did the right thing, but im surprised with kucinich. Every time hes done something great lately we get tons of posts saying "Dont buy it, hes as much a socialist liberal as they come". Maybe hes really starting to come around, Ive been very impressed lately.

Yes, but...

Kucinich voted no for all the wrong reasons. He spoke just before the vote about the LACK of regulations imposed by the proposal. There's a minute-long video on Youtube of his speech prior to the vote where he explains his motives. He's an honest guy, I just disagree with his big-government philosophy.

Bump

To keep handy

"Obamney care," Nuff said.

Dreier you piece of SH*T!

That scumbag of a congressman actually voted for the bailout I am so going to make sure he is not re-elected in November...

Thanks Ron!

I have spent the last 45 minutes trying to find a comprehensive list of the representatives that voted for or against this act. It only makes sense to me that this information would be extremely accessible to the public; this is a very high-profile, controversial issue and input from the public has been extraordinarily high, why wouldn't they want to provide their constituents with the results of their votes? That said I want to thank Ron Paul and his staff for being the ONLY website I could find that posted a comprehensive list of the votes! Information is power which is most likely why our government shares so little of it with us. I will be writing in Ron Paul for president 08.
Also, I am a Minnesota voter and was wondering if Mr. Paul will be returning the favor and endorsing Dean Barkley? I hope so!

Kentucky Results

I guess I should be fairly happy with this result....however, I have a case of happy fingers to type letters to the editors of their districts to make sure all voters know how Lewis & Rogers are voting against the Constitution.

Called Rep. John Yarmuth - DEM - VOTED NAY
Called Rep. Ben Chandler - DEM - VOTED NAY
Called Rep. Geoff Davis - REP - VOTED NAY
Called Rep. Edward Whitfield - REP - VOTED NAY

Called Rep. Ron Lewis - REP- VOTED YAY
Called Rep. Harold Rogers - REP- VOTED YAY

Tolerance is the virtue of the man who no longer has anything to believe in....

I'm really confused here

Looking at HR3997 on Govtrack hr 3997 says NOTHING about the bailout that I am finding and says it passed. Is this even the right roll call? I don't recall the bailout being numbered 3997. That's an easy number to remember. I recall 4 different digits.

They do lots of votes

It could've been a vote for adjournment. They record things formally no matter how important or minor the issue.

The bailout is an amendment to the 1986 tax code (I guess under the "other purposes" category.)

Defend Liberty!

Some in Washington come

Some in Washington come through for us:

McMorris Rodgers (R)
Hastings (R)

The surprises however were:

Dave Reichert: A Bush-fawning liberal Republican who is a lover of the state and its tentacles.

Jay Inslee: A Democrat in one of the most liberal areas of the country. Check out what he said:

"HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS OF DOLLARS OF DEFICIT SPENDING -- (House of Representatives - September 25, 2008)

[Page: H9874]

---

(Mr. INSLEE asked and was given permission to address the House for 1 minute and to revise and extend his remarks.)

Mr. INSLEE. Madam Speaker, listening to the President last night, I had a very disturbing sense of déja 2 vu, or actually, maybe, appropriately, déja 2 voodoo.

I remember the situation where the President said we had this threat to the country, we had to respond in Iraq. He then went on to foist hundreds of billions of dollars of deficit spending in the Iraq war, without paying one single dime in a fiscally responsible way to do it.

Last night he did exactly the same thing. He attempted to foist somewhere between 200, 500, 700 billion dollars of deficit spending on the American people. When you do deficit spending, you ultimately put the cost on middle-income taxpayers in America.

This President, if he believes this crisis is so bad, needs to come to the American people and put the cost on the folks who got us into this predicament, the industry that created this crisis, not on middle-income taxpayers.

This is fiscal irresponsibility. It will not stand."

Quite a surprise, indeed!

Email to my Congressman

Dear Congressman,

I am very disappointed in your AYES vote for the $700 Billion Bailout.

However. you still have a chance to redeem yourself by supporting Ron Paul's "AUDIT THE FED" BILL (HR 2755).

Consider yourself on notice; your AYES vote will not be forgotten, nor will we let you forget while you campaign for reelection.

Campaign contributions

Now lets find out why so many voted for it. Starting by comparing campaign contributions over the past 15 years or so.

Congressman Weller's office assured me

he would be voting no. He was the only person who didn't show up to vote. Kind of disappointing to the 11th district of Illinois, but..

Great Work Americans, we won for a Change!

Thanks for that info.

Local news reports yesterday claimed his office was not responding to reporters and his whereabouts were unknown. I'll be contacting him again!

That's ok

I told mine that not showing up would be taken as a yes in my book...but he voted yes anyway and now has an earful coming. eighty percent of the people here on our own local paper "poll" said heck no, let them sink. Now my senator Tom Coburn is saying he's going to vote to pass it when they get it sent to them.

what the hell?

A great idea

by showing their voting records in the open one bill at a time. Keep it up!

Congressman John E. Peterson (R-PA) voted aye

This guy is as unConstitutional as they come. The real disgusting part of his yes vote is that he is retiring this coming november (his wife is ill) only to be replaced by someone who has been "groomed" for the slot and we here in Pennsylvania will not have the opportunity to vote him out of office because of this changing of the guard. His replacement is no better, Glenn Thompson.

I will be calling Carnahan

and voicing my opinion first thing tomorrow. What a jerk. The american people should rise up and hang these treasonous bastards.

Woot

I'm glad to see that my congressman voted against it , was a surprise to me seeing as though it was Jessie Jackson Jr

Robert Wexler

What in the world happemed with this guy. Is he afflicted with tremendous ADD. The man that wants Bush/ Cheney skewered on a spit?
I'm starting to think Mr Wexler wasn't as keen on Impeachment as he first led us to believe. I realize this isn't impeachment, it's just a continuation of the criminality. Wexler cannot see this I suppose. WTF..Is there anyone telling the GD truth anymore. I thought Wexler was solid. You cannot be an impeachment leader and vote for this obvious fraud...Christ there hasn't even been an investigation. Does Wexler ask for some supporting docs from an investigator to prove the innocence of these $trillions lost and to be refunded by the available taxpayer. GD that really P$$$ES ME OFF!! Anyone in Florida have this guy, what is going on here?

Just one last kick in the nuts, then a final deathblow
