Swing District Congressmen Doomed Bailout
This was predictable, I suppose, but it's remarkable to see how strong a relationship there is between today's failed vote on the bailout and the competitive nature of different House races.

Among 38 incumbent congressmen in races rated as "toss-up" or "lean" by Swing State Project, just 8 voted for the bailout as opposed to 30 against: a batting average of .211.

By comparison, the vote among congressmen who don't have as much to worry about was essentially even: 197 for, 198 against.

If there is one thing we have learned

through Ron Paul...it is to never forget, and don't just pretend life is ok when it isn't.

So just because these douchebags aren't up for election this year, doesn't mean they shouldn't be sweating this until they are up for re election. If they voted for the bailout, they voted for big banks and corporations, and against the American People.

They will be replaced.

Both Carolyn McCarthy NY and Tim Bishop NY voted in favor and are up for re election. Both are Dems.

Yes

Lets hound Ron Paul into the White House

Obama = O.ne B.ig A.ss M.istake A.merica

They are all "vulnerable" after voting "yes" to the bail out!

Unless some are running absolutely unopposed, the rest may well have just made themselves "vulnerable".

This would imply that there

This would imply that there is only 8 members of congress that may lose their seat because of this vote.

as I've stated before...

Diebold doesn't quite have a stranglehold on State elections yet.

They have the Presidential electoral college in the bag, but not all of our States.

Great Patriot Work, good people.

Keep up the fight. Dig deep. Sacrifice. Persist. Prevail.

This is why we need to target thwe House.

They are more responsive to voters.
It also shows why it is easier to kill "bad" legislation than it is to pass "good" legislation.

We need to get the numbers so we can do both, but I'll be happy with this for now.

Just replacing these 8

Just replacing these 8 congressmen with someone responsive to voters will be a good start.

This is how the

This is how the establishment makes sure we do not have as much power. They allow anyone at risk of being voted out of office to vote no. While all of the people in non-competitive districts vote yes.
