It wasn't the MONEY, it was the LEGAL COVER that Paulsen wanted
Since we are reading about the $650Bil that the Fed went ahead and spent ANYWAY, today..... and since we know that $700Bil didn't even scratch the SURFACE of the financial problems.... I believe that it was LEGAL COVER in this bill that Paulsen really wanted. We KNOW about section 8, which gave him totally unchecked powers, but I'll bet that buried in the fine print of the Bill (not the 4 page summary) there were legal protections for many of the bigshots.
I think they are dreaming of the crowds with torches and ropes standing at the gates of their castles, and they were doing a pre-emptive strike to try to protect themselves from later prosecutions.
This fall of the stock market today is merely the coordinated fear tactics they are using to try to get this passed on Thursday. THEY WANT TO BE IMMUNE FROM PROSECUTION LATER.... mark my words.

said in an interview with Aaron Russo that there has NEVER been an audit of the Federal Reserve, and as a member of the committee, he found that quite interesting.
Basically, the Fed Reserve said it's no one's business. He also said they were given all the gold and did not know where it was - as no audit.
