Economic recovery ideas for the good ole USA

To combat our quickly tanking economy, we should push for legalization and taxation of so-called illegal drugs, prostitution, and gambling.

It would make a world of difference by cutting the legs off of criminal activity, allow us to drastically reduce our police forces and give a stream of steady, reliable income to our local and state governments.

This could be the ideal time to set forth an agenda that will pull us up from the current morass we are sinking into.

It would make money, and we would all be more free, but these things being illegal make the prisons lots of money and give tons of people government jobs. So those people and industries are lobbying hard to keep it illegal.
