does anyone think that this is unfolding as planned. ie, ridiculous proposal, revised proposal rejected, congress break, market drops for a few day, media kicks in with doom gloom, congress meets and saves the day with a new revised bailout?

so they revise it one more time and for the next 2-3 days the MSM pumps up the scare tactics.The 3rd version will be just palatable to crack those 11 votes. I was wondering how they drafted what was it 110 pages in no time. I thought when they brought it up it was to fast and had to be sitting in the background just like the Patriot Act.

Keep the heat on these people, double time. You have the drill down pat,phone calls and email/faxex to Reps,media, CSPAN ect.

we got at the RNC alot of them got shut out of the meetings. Only the commity leaders got to make the changes to the bill, So remember those who got locked out of the meetings feel like us and we know how they feel don't we.

It is obvious that this is the plan, but we have a plan too. We are watching them and they will need to play it straight. We are watching them and they will need to walk the line. We are going to have our hands full this next week, but if we can get it past this week we can hold them off until the election. Then we will exchange the ones that voted yes for those who will vote no.

Once Paulson gets the power he wants. Watch him start consolidating all these banks into maybe three or four large banks. No more choices. Stand in line to get that computer chip injected into your arm.

Think things are bad now, just wait and see what happens if Congress hands Paulson the power he is seeking.

I don't know that I'd call it "getting played".
I'd be more inclined to say that's their "game plan", and expecting to pull it out of the fire that way.

I really think they were expecting/hoping to get it all on this first round.

I just flipped on the boobtube to get the media spin. AND WOW!!! They have changed their tune. Now they are complaining it didn't get done. Then all these pundits come out of the crypt tryin to scare everyone.
