Tuesday Update: I need some help over at the Voter Bomb, please
Tuesday Morning Update: Thank you everyone for your help last night in updating the states. If anyone is up for a little research project, we could use the following over at the Voter Bomb: Roll call votes for: Iraq War authorization, Patriot Act I & 2, the FISA bill, etc. Much appreciated for any help you can give. Hi Friends,
It seems like I'm trying to do about 1,000 different things. If you haven't heard, I just set up a new website, modeled on this one, called the Voter Bomb. The whole point is to turn over the entire US Congress: Vote every single incumbent out (excepting, of course, our hero Dr. Paul, who is in no danger since he is unchallenged. There will be other exceptions, too and we need to compile a list.)
Anyway, this is what I need help with. In the forums section, I've set up a topic for each of the 50 states. I'd like it if everyone could pick a state, and give us a brief overview of how the Congressional races for the state look. If you pick your own state, you'll most likely learn a little something as well. I did! Here is my example for my home state of Massachusetts. As you can see, it is just a very simple overview. I copied all the the info from OpenSecrets.org, which is a great website.
If you have an account here at the Daily Paul before 9/25/2008, you're all set to go at the VB - just log in using the same user/pass combo. You also get your own blog, and feel free to post forum topics there as well.
I know there is only about a month until the election, and it might be difficult to have an impact in such a short period of time. But I'm a sucker for lost causes. That's why I started the Daily Paul ;-).

I have all 53 districts listed as well as each incumbents vote on the Bailout Bill. I have not had time to research Web sites for each person though. I will try to do this over the next few days, but I can't make any promises. In most cases, google should get you where you need to go.

Ron Paul Index score (RPI)
Someone (I think named chuckem?) mentioned a "Freedom Index Score" that rates how each incumbent has voted and is another way of saying it is a score close to how RP votes - I've looked in the Birch society's website and can't find it anywhere. Chuckem, do you or anyone else know where that info can be found? I think it would be great to have an "RPI score" next to each incumbent's name.

While DP has given us a broad perspective (for the most part) and a chance to interact with Paulites at home and around the world, VB allows us to zoom in at a State level and discuss things closer to home. And I'm sure both sites will cross-pollinate. Great idea, Michael.

I am in NC in 10th district Patrick McHenry is my congressman (whom I have little love for as he has consistantly voted as a neo con chickenhawk! ) I have been hammering him all week and am surprised he voted "Nay" today! His past record though is very neocon and I met the opponent Democrat Daniel Johnson last week an Iraq veteran and double amputee who is very constitutional minded. I am going to ask both of them now if they could agree to the 4 points the third parties agreed to.
It is late for me here tonight but I will cross reference the yea and nay voters in my state tomorrow and post it on the new site for you!
We have many battles ahead and I am happy to be in such determined company as I find here! It is never a lost cause Michael....NEVER!!! This is not about what is popular is is about what is right and I am not dead yet...so the fight is on and ever will be til my last breath!

Michael - Please discard that silly thought. The movement has had extraordinary assistance from your efforts in creating and maintaining the DP. We are making some progress. America might have to hit bottom first, but the education is working. People are waking up.
