I'd say write in Paul....
if you're a purist like me. But if you want to make a statement by helping a third party go for one or the other, I honestly don't know which one I'd choose.
Barr acted like a jerk, and his initial positions on the war, the patriot act, and a host of other issues were basically diametrically opposed to mine... though he has seen the light. As for Baldwin? I don't know all that much about him, but the Constitutionalist platform is a little bit sketchy in my honest opinion.
Things to consider:
No matter which of our candidates you vote for, you are only making a statement by doing so. As much as we hate to face reality, NONE of ours are winning the Presidency.
Chuck Baldwin seems to be the one that most of the Paulies have gone to, because of Ron Paul saying he will be supporting him.
Barr dicked Paul over at the media conference and even said some crappy stuff about him.
McKinney is hands down not going to win anything. Just not enough recognition.
It's up to you. I am not biased toward any of them, I still have not made up my own mind confidently, but it is looking like Baldwin for me. What does it matter? He isn't going to win anyway, but I refuse to vote Obama, or McCain.
What will allow you to feel proud of your vote..
in the morning?
It is that simple. Statistically speaking, no vote matters.. Except to the person casting it.

Right
Which is why I cast my vote for Ron Paul in 1988, my first time voting!
And it's why I also cast votes for Harry Browne and Michael Badnarik.
Gee, I'm such a loser. But at least I was able to live with a clear conscience and walk with my head up.

I favor Baldwin over Barr.
But, I will probably vote for Barr in my state. For the reason that Baldwin is a write in here also. I'm going to vote for the one who will have the greatest impact at the polls here. I don't see to many people will writing in someone that is not on the ballot and has no name recognition. Plain and simple.
You do as you feel......

I agree with the others
Ron Paul chose Baldwin and Barr snubbed Ron Paul.
Write in Baldwin.
So if either/neither of them officially are "counted" then you've voted your conscience.
I'm doing an absentee write-in for Baldwin too.

Sometimes you have to trust
the judgement, wisdom, and experience of your mentors in their field of expertise. Ron Paul has more of the aforementioned traits than all of today's politicians combined. Besides, he knows the "inside" story which we will never hear. I decided to vote for Baldwin when Ron Paul said not to waste our vote on a write- in for RP.
I had been reading all of Baldwin's commentary for months and he was one of the biggest backers of Ron Paul throughout the entire election season. Baldwin owes no favors to the neocon machine. My loyalty to Ron Paul and Baldwin runs deep. Ron Paul voting for Baldwin just tells me that my political instincts are in line with one of the best in the business!
Makes me feel warm and fuzzy all over.
If Baldwin only got three votes I will know that I voted in "good company". I will vote my conscience and loyalty in Nov. for 2 of the most courageous men I have ever seen in politics.
Write in Baldwin. Get a
Write in Baldwin. Get a write in Baldwin sticker for your car. Spread the message.

It doesn't matter one way or the other.
You're not going to affect the outcome of the election no matter which one you vote for. It will be seen as a protest vote for limited government, no matter which one you vote for. Flip a coin.
Just don't vote for Nader. That will be seen as support for socialism.
I suggest you vote your conscience...
However, I feel Barr has no chance of winning at all.
Make sure your absentee
ballot is marked in ink and vote for Baldwin ! GGGGGGEEEEEEESSSSSSHHHHHH !

Well
You're on a Ron Paul support site & I'm assuming a RP supporter. You probably would've voted Ron Paul if given the chance. Since your candidate of choice was Dr. Paul & he has endorsed Baldwin and not Barr...there you go. Good luck! :)

I think...
You should just vote your conscience!
A vote for Barr, a write-in for Baldwin or Paul: they will all mean you refused to vote for the "Diabolical Duo."
Depending on your state, write-ins may be announced. If that's the case, go for it if that's what you prefer.
It's entirely your choice.

Well, Ron Paul endorsed
Well, Ron Paul endorsed Chuck Baldwin...
So, that pretty much settles it.
...
Not endorsed
He said HE was voting for Baldwin. He didn't tell anyone else to.
Well, I suppose that's true.
Well, I suppose that's true. Ron Paul basically made an anti-endorsement of the Republicans and Democrats. Basically anyone other than McCain or Obama.
But, in my opinion, publicizing who he intends to vote for really is akin to endorsing that person. If Ron Paul did not want his choice to affect others, then he would have never mentioned who he was going to vote for.
