THE EMAIL ARMY could threaten to go pro-active in trying to defeat any Senator or Representative who voted YA!

To make an impression - The Email Army could threaten to go PROACTIVE in trying to defeat any Senator or Representative!
Once they are on the list to be defeated, the Email Army from around the nation could start researching and sending their voters every piece of dirt we can find.

Have you forgotten about "black-box" voting...

Look elsewhere also
We've been researching Costa Rica. Prices are high there...about the same for housing as in the US, maybe even higher right now. Have a look at Ecuador, some of our RP friends have moved there. It's farther away, but their President recently refused to re-up the lease of a military base to the US, so they can't be all bad!!!
I hear you can buy 4 acres and have a 2-bdrm house built on it, all for about $40,000. Anything decent in Costa Rica runs north of $300k and up.
Where else can we go? Panama? Montana? Alaska where they pay YOU from the state treasury rather than you paying them! How about Zanadu? Has anyone built that floating island yet and declared it a nation? Hells bells! We could even apply to the US for foreign aid! Every other country in the world is getting it.
"What have you done for Ron Paul today"?
I can see that you know little or nothing about Costa Rica...

bull crap!
I posted this on the wrong string!!!
Can anyone repost it for me in the right area?

Spitballs must we fire to amass a weight that could kill?
Everything in our power means just that
When we called and said everything in our power we meant it. You don't have to be an activist in order to stand up for what's right. The people rule this country. There are 300 million of us. It's good to remind our representatives of our awe inspiring will power from time to time.
True!
!
the voter bomb
i think the army should be deployed not in targeted assassination, but in the voter equivalent of shock and awe
VOTE THEM ALL OUT
there has never been a time when all over this country so many are disillusioned and angry. this is ALL OVER THE COUNTRY.
target all the YEAS in the House and in the 35 senate chumps that will vote YEA.
encourage everyone to put their political affiliations in the drawer for a moment (they can vote whomever they want for Prez -- we all know here that for this election, it's largely irrelevant anyhow)
and vote against every single incumbent who votes yea OUT OF OFFICE.
period.
point blank.
no mercy.
That's a Great idea!

Ok...but would it take to the streets to defend the people from
the military thugs now being stationed in the streets ?

There are a lot of people who still own guns!
Therefore it's hard for me to believe they would try this.
Good idea
they should push any third party candidate, and if there is not one, check whether the opposite side is pro or contra bailout, and support if contra bailout, even if it is a Dem. In 2010 a true conservative Republican can then be elected again. Otherwise one cannot get rid of the incumbent easily, also as they often win their primary battles.
Yeah
Pick a Senator from a small state, so we really do have a chance of reaching everyone there.
I would think we should be able to go pro-active on all the
senators that vote FOR the bailout. Right now the purpose is to scare the hell out of them. Tell them we have an Army of 10,000 and growing, ready to do campaign warfare, to join their opponent, raise money and do everything we can to see they are defeated.
Pick Arkansas, and ANY
Pick Arkansas, and ANY Congressman or Senator as they all voted YES. I am especially po'd at Marion Berry, as he ignored the Petition of Grievance I delivered, all of my phone calls, AND his office says he is very much abiding by the constitution, which he keeps in his pocket!!!
Blanche Lincoln is the worst of the two senators, as she never communicates or answers, either..
The "email" Army, the "fax" barrage Navy, the "phone call" bomb
Airforce, and the"personal visit to their office" Marines.
Use every available weapon to stop the banker bailout.
Emails
Faxes
Phone calls
Office visits
Public speaking event questions to the representatives
Signs in front of their residences and offices in DC
Protest marches/Civil disobiedence
Meetup group coordination
Media barrages
Anti-bailout videos/songs
Balloon messages
T-shirt sologans
Billboards
"Tax Slave" temporary tattoo
Public venting meetings
Contributions to groups/members who are with us
Bumper Stickers
Email/call friends
Airplane banner messages
Opps, sorry, I was on a roll. Guess I can leave out the: hunger strikes, molotov cocktails and coup for now! : )
More is definetly better!

$1 Quadrillion of Unregulated Debt At Core of Coming Derivatives Crisis
By John Tiffany
Despite all the blather and swearing-on-the-Bible pronunciamentos from establishment “pundits,” our house-of-cards financial system is not fundamentally sound.
Expect such indices as the Dow to tumble even much lower when the Pandora’s box of derivatives is fully opened.
Believe it or not, the Dow is still not far from its all-time peaks, with a lot further to fall. The depression is still in its early stages. We are looking at $1 quadrillion of unregulated debt, with much of it at risk. (And we used to think $1 trillion was a lot.)
These are literally inconceivable sums. Counting one dollar per second, it would take 32 million years to count to one quadrillion.
The stock market in this era of the privately owned Federal Reserve Bank is a giant craps shoot. Much of it is quite unregulated, especially the invisible market of derivatives. The sub-prime mortgage market collapsed, which is now being followed by a giant credit crisis. Now we are looking at the possible collapse of the derivative market.
Everybody has something to hide.
Send them all an email or letter
saying"I know what you did",and if you vote for the bailout I will tell everyone about your past! And they would all be thinking OMG,do they know about the affair,or the bribes or the money,or,or!!!
That's a good one!
Use their own imagination and guilty conscience against them. I love a little psychological warfare! I bet some of them have plenty of skeletons in the closet to think about!
Good point
I'm trying persuasion right now, but if they turn on the People then it will become an email brigade bent on retribution... Not to mention an unattractive listing on Michael's new site.

"I killed the banks"
I sent a letter to my Senators tonight
I borrowed from Jim Sinclair and included the quote from "Old Hickory" found on another DP thread tonight.
RE: Legislation Pertaining to the Bailout of the Banking Industry
Dear Senator Salazar:
It is my understanding that the Senate will take up the bailout issue, perhaps as early as tomorrow. There are two things that I would like to convey to you regarding any action that the Senate might consider with respect to the bailout of the banking industry.
1. Financial institutions must not be granted exemption from fair accounting rules that require them to reveal the true market value of the value-less paper they hold. You simply must not let that happen. It would legislate financial fabrication! You cannot support lying as an economic tool! Have we not already had ENOUGH of fabrication and spin? You must vote NO if the proposed legislation contains a change in Fair Accounting Rules.
2. A quote from one of the true patriots of this country, President Andrew Jackson: "Gentlemen, I have had men watching you for a long time and I am convinced that you have used the funds of the bank to speculate in the breadstuffs of the country. When you won, you divided the profits amongst you, and when you lost, you charged it to the bank. You tell me that if I take the deposits from the bank and annul its charter, I shall ruin ten thousand families. That may be true, gentlemen, but that is your sin! Should I let you go on, you will ruin fifty thousand families, and that would be my sin! You are a den of vipers and thieves . . . I intend to rout you out, and by the Eternal God I will rout you out!"
I trust that you will work in the interest of We the People, the present-day patriots, who will be watching closely. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Wonderful letter Gil
This is a keeper. Thanks for sharing!
You might follow up with a threat of him
being put on the Email Army's black list to be defeated if he votes for the bailout.
Great letter, Gil.

"I killed the banks"
I think it is to late to be nice.
A PROACTIVE EMAIL ARMY - could be a new force on the political landscape. Let them think about 10,000 political activists from around the country teaming up to educate the voters in their districts about their largest donors, junkets and voting records. We could even actively join their opponent's campaign.
We could even actively join
their campaign-as moles: ). I don't like such tactics but hey this is war, a war they started and they do it to us
"You are a den of vipers and thieves."
I mean to rout you out!
-Just because you are among us, does not make you with us
-The door is wide open, anything can slither in
Totally agree with that post
Trust me, I'm being direct in my emails. My Senators aren't up for re-election until 2010. But I think by the looks on all of their faces they realize that this is unprecedented. The people have awoken...and they're pi$$ed off.
My Rep (D) voted against it and had this quote in the paper today: "'We are in the golden age of thieves. And where I come from, we put thieves in jail. We don't bail them out,' Visclosky told the U.S. House on Monday as he helped provide the 228-vote majority to kill the bipartisan rescue plan."

I'm trying to get people to understand what a new power an EMAIL ARMY could be. I think you see it.
