Wait a second.. how is this heading to the Senate after failing in Congress?

I believe
it bounces back. If it's shot down in the House it then goes to Senate. If Senate passes it, it bounces back to the House for re-vote to see if they'll agree w/ Senate this time. That's how i interpreted it anyways.

The Senate is re-writing the bill....voting on it...and if it passes...they will then pass it down to the house.....
Legislation can originate in either house or senate.....

Known this for a long time...but the people seem so unwilling to actually do something real...thus the gun reference.
They are attaching it to an energy bill.
Seems to me that if we want to take power away from the elite who benefit from the Federal government, then people need to stop holding and investing in T-bills and put wealth in their own bank. An investment in T-bills empowers the elitists controlling the Federal government. Remember T-bills are just paper, just like FRNs. Withdrawling our investment is their biggest fear. Holding onto T-bills locks up dollars as they say. I suggest investing in something other than T-bills such as physical food, supplies, silver and gold. These items stimulate our economy and the individual is empowered. But, what the hell do I know?

How can they just attach it to another bill? If they started out as two separate bills and they're about completely different things how can they just attach them together like that? That's so seedy and slimey.

Just called Rep. Akin who voted no on Monday
If it passes the Senate, it comes back to the House for a vote. I asked whether it would be a floor vote or go to resolution committee. She said it would be a floor vote, and that it would be recorded. I asked if Rep. Akin would still vote no, and she said it depends on what comes out of the Senate, but if it's the same thing as Monday, yes he would still vote no. She couldn't tell me if the House "no" caucus had grown or shrunk since Monday.

Wouldn't it still have to get passed by the House?
Or go to the Resolution Committee?
If it is attached to a passed bill, is it over?
Is the bill still approved? Or do they need to revote because it was amended?
Don't they have to vote or something to amend a bill?

We need names...so we can make examples out of them.
We need to let politicians, aides, etc. know that all actions against the people will be accounted for.

This is not how it is supposed to work but they are adding it on to another bill, that was also voted down by the house, to get around that small problem.

Bailout attached to a bill?!
Why would they attach the bailout to a bill that was rejected by the house? How is it that the senate votes on bills that didn't even pass the House? Silly me that I could believe that our elected Senators actually follow rules, but it doesn't make sense

I know we've been trying to get Lautenberg out of NJ for quite a while. Very difficult to get out entrenched, social-handout politicians in a state such as this.

The bill failed by a small margin, the Senate and the Executive Branch are now joining to put maximum pressure on the dissenting votes in the house. The IMF, Federal Reserve, Executive, Treasury and the Senate. Man, we better stand strong and serious on this one all the way - I think its time to remove Representatives and Senators from office (I mean fired immediately for ignoring the will of the people! Anything to do with taxes must be introduced in the House. But the Senate can just add it on to another bill to get around this Law.
