IMF warns the US to do something quick!
Submitted by FireTeamforFreedom on Wed, 10/01/2008 - 08:54
The International Monetary Fund has added to the growing pressure on the US Congress to approve the Wall Street bail-out, as stockmarkets rose on optimism that a deal will be hammered out this week.
Dominique Strauss-Kahn, managing director of the IMF, warned last night that the US must take urgent steps to protect its economy from the ongoing financial crisis.
"We're right at the moment where action is needed," warned Strauss-Kahn. "A non-perfect plan is better than no plan at all," he added, in an interview with Reuters in Washington.

All problems lead to the
All problems lead to the same solution: We MUST dump the Fed and get back on a system of sound currency. That is a thought that must put the fear of God in them as it is being said more and more often. What would those trillionaires be worth if their FRNs all turned to dust and we refused to hand over the gold in Ft. Knox they have stolen.

Pretty funny
It's amusing that the IMF would want the US to do something seeing as they are at the top of the banking pyramid. If they want to bail out their fellow bankers I would have no problem with that. Why don't they start writing some checks?
They aren't telling us to do
They aren't telling us to do something. They are telling the Corporation (USA) which they own to do something. Read the Bretton Woods Agreement - The United States Code (USC) Title 22 § 286.
IMF is losing power, but this can change if we allow it.
IMF is upset because many countries around the world have paid off their debt and aren't borrowing anymore.
What if the government was unable to sell more Treasury bills? What if China and Japan began to sell? Wouldn't they be forced to mint money?
Seems to me that if we want to take power away from the elite who benefit from the Federal government, then people need to stop holding and investing in T-bills and put wealth in their own bank. An investment in T-bills empowers the elitists controlling the Federal government. Remember T-bills are just paper, just like FRNs. Withdrawling our investment is their biggest fear. Holding onto T-bills locks up dollars as they say. I suggest investing in something other than T-bills such as your local economy, food, supplies, silver and gold. These items stimulate our economy and the individual is empowered. But, what the hell do I know?

The IMF is one of the worse
The IMF is one of the worse managed organizations in the world, it is yet another criminal system similar to its sister the FED and the World Bank.

America, The Last Hope
It is upon us gentlemen. Evil has spread across the globe and America is the last domino to fall. If we do nothing and allow it to fall, then we have all embraced evil and the world will be enslaved. We must do everything in our power to stop this global syndicate of darkness. This is a spiritual war of the highest order: Good and Evil, Light and Darkness. You MUST choose a side. Our generation may well be known as the greatest. If we stand up, we will have saved the entire world. Our hour is upon us. Will the last light go out with us? Are you willing to committ your lives to the greatest of all causes and be remembered all thoughout history? I am.

Spiritual war?
You sound like a crazy christian zionist. There's no such thing as evil, only bad people
Christianity and "zionism"
Christianity and "zionism" are not the same thing. That is ignorance to say that. If "zionists" are manipulating Christianity for their own gain, fine. But Christ is the only way. Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater.
yeah but do something don't just say it.

Yes, it's either Freedom or Fascism, there's no time to be in the mushy middle, it's times like these where people must take a stand!
Not surprising - you see the europeans are pissed
Because we have snookered them with lots of these bad Mortgage derivatives (Some I hear have forclosure rates of 25%) that hid the bad debt. The companies doing the ratings, some public and some private companies, did not do their job right in rating these derivatives, and the european banks took them at face value.
One other thing I heard is that the global money would have invested in T-bills instead, as a safer investment, but the return was terrible, as low as 1 %. (thanks to the fed) So, they went for the higher yield derivatives, which had an error in rating.
The IMF is trying to become the international Fed, as people have said - remember - you don't vote for a King.
No Cash Refunds
Wasn't the onus on them to investigate what they were buying?
so when they bankrupt the country and force a global monetary
system (obviously would have an IRS version to enforce it worldwide) will the IMF get the taxes?
possible,..
Or they might just keep the one we got right now since they are doing a great job at taking our taxes anyway.

the IMF is the International Version of the Fed
you would be surprised at how many countries this international version of the fed has brought to its knees into 3rd world countries.
you would be surprised at the tactics they use to crash stockmarkets, devalue currencies, poverty-causing programs, food access as weapons, and arm-twists thru political and military pressure that nations "avail" of their loans.
This is a circus ladies and gentlemen. This entity has more blood in their hands as they are the international legmen of the fed. the fed is their heart of operations. so, this action is another circus performance for a sperficial veneer of "LEGITIMACY"
Yeah..isn't it funny...they now know what to do...
...and of course it will cost us more money!
It's like a bad door to door salesman that sold us a broken vacuum cleaner... and somehow you caught up with him and he says... "yep its broke...but thats what you bought... the one that works costs much more!"

Interesting that suddenly they
know exactly what drives the market. How about, "Investment on Wall Street surged Tuesday as buyers reacted to the possibility that the free market would prevail."?
Exactly!
The MSM spin doctors are out full force.
