People have to put this entire "Terrorist" thing into perspective.
According to the CDC 18,000 people die every year from Staph infections.
That's six 9/11's every year!
What about car accidents? Thousands of people die of drunk driving, cancer, heart failure etc....
If you think about it, the only fear people have about the "Terrorists" is to actually get killed by them... Right?
So if people are so afraid to die, why don't they fear dying from drunk driving accidents, heart disease, staph infections, and/or gun violence? (All of which are way more likely to happen to us and they are all preventable.)
People really need to put this craziness into perspective.

at least subconsciously... Larry Kudlow worked for Reagan, and Reagan in all honesty was like the beta version for Ron Paul today. Kudlow likes low taxes and small government, but he gets caught up in the foreign policy fear-mongering that the neo-cons put out.
The fear-mongering needs to stop... no nation would dare openly attack us militarily, and the terrorist threat is overblown to justify the destruction of personal liberties.
But I digress... here's something to chew on. I'm thinking that, outside of Faux Newspeak, the MSM is covering RP more and treating him more fairly because, after the Nov. 5th money bomb, they're realizing that he might have a much bigger following than the opinion polls are portraying.
After all, there's plenty of different ways these opinion polls could be skewed (don't ever believe that +/- 4 percentage points error crap). Especially considering that the primaries are where the hard-core political activists vote, and it is nearly impossible to predict the behavior of small sub-sects within a larger group using telephone polls. The straw polls are much more accurate in my estimation, and Ron Paul is dominating those.
MSM is beginning to realize that Paulites are real people, not bots, and real people = ratings. Ratings are the bottom line for MSM. MSM needs eyeballs to justify the money spent by their advertisers. With a "marginal" candidate you can treat them like crap and get all bellicose to get people's attention and increase your ratings. But if that candidate is "legitimized" by the public through a show of support, MSM will have no choice but to change their tune and give them the extra airtime and fair treatment. Its all in the name of ratings. This is business folks, but it is a refreshing change all the same.

Dude said there was to be a round-table discussion immediately afterward, of Paul's proposal for competing currencies. Does anyone know where I can view that discussion? I am very interested in hearing it, but was not able to find it on Youtube or CNBC's site.

I think there were 4 guys, I missed the first ones comments, the 2nd didn't say much, the 3rd had to dig Ron before he agreed with him by saying something stupid like this:
"You know, those Libertarians who want to legalize drugs? I usually think most of them are smoking them themselves when they talk about stuff like this, but I have to say I kind of like what he said about competing currencies."
Then the 4th guy said something in regard to inflation not being an issue because of some sort of rate, and then the host agreed with him. Didn't sound to me like it supported Ron's position, but rather the Fed's.
I wish I had seen the entire thing, but that 3rd guys comment stood out as particularly insulting to me as a Libertarian. I can't stand these fools who would rather be told that drugs illegal than have the choice to NOT use them themselves. What the hell is wrong with these people?
The only thing, and I mean the ONLY thing I dislike about Ron Paul's representation, is the lack communitive will.
When asked why he is running, he has to say "I'm in this to win, there is no second place"
"I will not accept Vice President. I'm running for President of the United Sttes of America"
He needs to stop sopunding surprised at how well he is dooing, and projectconfidence. Now is the time to move from accidental/reluctant candidate to someone the Mass Media's Audience can harken too.
He is great when he gets fired up, but he needs to project tat confidence, the force of wil he has at other times... Be The Leader.

The problem is that he is too honest, too sincere and too humble. He doesn't spin. He doesn't want to and he doesn't know how. He will never say anything that will make him look " tougher, more determined". He will never say "I am the best". They ask him a specific question.... "What if you don't win the nomination....?" and he gives them a specific answer even if he knows the intent of the interviewers. In fact, he is being asked annoying questions right from the start and he always patiently answered them. MSM considers RP's humility as a weak spot which they can take advantage of. But still I don't want to see any changes in RP in the name of election tactics. It is MSM that has to change this silly behavior. RP doesn't need to change a bit. Not a single bit. We like him they way he is.

good interview, they keep getting better. i do have one gripe though and its not against kudlow. how did Dr. Paul get the amt of money we gave him confused?
Personally I dont think he wants to make one day the majority of the money he has raised this quarter i.e. 7.6 million.... it makes the rest of the days look skimpy.... just a thought - it makes the rest of the fundraising days look bigger...
I've seen Ron in interviews with this guy before, and he gave him the same treatment most of the media has, attempting to make him look like some kind of a crackpot.
It appears as though he has now finally started listening instead of just bloviating, and has decided to ask questions and look for the finer points of Ron's economic proposals.
So here he is congratulating himself in Ron's presence that he has read Hayek, and that he asked a question about Hayek. That was funny. It was like the student looking for praise from a teacher.
In the end, it's just another good sign that Ron is winning over the media. As his huge grassroots support pushes him to top-tier status, they're forced to actually spend a moment listening to his points, thinking critically about them, and asking him for details -- knowing they're in for a real discussion, not more of the same fluff they bounce back and forth with the other candidates.

This was one the best interviews Ron Paul has been given! Larry treated Ron with respect and was very gracious to him, letting him explain his competing currency platform. The interview was nothing like the treatment he gets from people like Hanity, O'Rielly, or others. Last month, Larry, included Ron in the post debate (only the 1st tier were invited) and treated him fairly. He didn't have to do that.! We should thank him for this instead of being ungrateful!
With every interview, I am more and more inspired. Thank you, Mr. Kudlow for an informative interview.
RP understands, and more American people are waking up to the fact the value of the base monetary unit is what matters. Foreign investors certainly understand it.

What's great ...
Paul just stays on message, doesn't talk himself up, and the more he talks, the less the other candidates seem to have any relevance.
